Stopped my compression lows
I was getting compression lows all the time and banging my arm into walls and stuff. This has completely stopped the lows and protects my g7 when I bump i to the wall or something. It's easy to use and truly works. You dont even know it's on is so comfortable

Mostly good - adhesive patch bunches too easily. Perfectionists will be frustrated.
The hard shells really DO prevent the compression lows from these sensors.. But the patch overlay doesn't stretch in the right places to have it lay perfectly on the skin as the pictures show. It gets wrinkles it it while applying that are impossible to pull up and reapply. And when you remove later the stickiness left on the hard shell is quite hard to get off.

Good idea but could use some improvements
With the extremely poor signal quality of the Dexcom G7 CGM anything, even this small plastic cover, can attenuate the Bluetooth signal of the CGM causing a higher rate of disconnects. I have tested this with and without the cover with the CGM on my left arm communicating to the Apple watch on my left wrist. Testing on two typical days working in a home office, Day 1: Without the plastic cover I had one signal drop in a 24 hour period. Day2: With the plastic cover I had five signal drops in a 24 hour period.It would be nice to see this as a plastic ring with enough lip to go around the CGM, and the fabric cover without adhesive in the middle there the CGM is and only around it to stick to the skin. The pressure would hold the plastic cover as there is no need for adhesive over the CGM itself.

Hard Covers are essential to keep Sensor Protected.
The Hard covers in this pack is the most effective item. I use the hard cover every Dexcom Sensor that is injected. Hard Cover fits Dexcom 7 sensors perfectly. I keep the hard covers, and then going forward stock up on over patches from other packs for color and designs I want. Make sure to keep getting patches that cover the entire hard cover.

Does not help much with compression lows.
Does not help much with compression lows which is why we bought it. Also very expensive for 2 small pieces of plastic and 4 patches. However should help keep the sensor secure.
