These retractable box cutters are honestly such a great value. You get four of them for just a few bucks, and they work better than I expected. I use them almost daily to open packages, cut through tape, and even handle the occasional envelope or stubborn seal.What I really like:- Safe design. The blade only extends when you push up on it, so there’s no accidental poking or snagging.- Lightweight but durable. I ordered these because it was a good value and I could never find my box cutter. I loved the one I had as it was metal, durable, and felt nice to hold. But these really impressed me. They are beyond handy, light, and don’t take up a ton of wasted space in a drawer. I loved them so much, I ordered a second set.I currently have a few in the kitchen junk drawer, one in a bathroom drawer, one in my car, one in the laundry room, and I put one in a hide-a-key that I stashed by the recycling bin. I pretty much put one anywhere I’m usually opening boxes or packaging + my purse because I’m always opening something on the run. I would, however, advise anyone with small kids to be a little more conservative in placement.All in all, these are so worth the value and convenience.They arrived as pictured and in perfect condition. The work as described with a sharp blade that automatically retracts when you let go of the press lever. The colors are gorgeous (not that color impact my decision to purchase) and helps them stand out in the drawer. This far the plastic casing seems very sturdy and well made.I would definitely recommend these box cutters.

Love the size and design of these little box cutters. I love the 4 pack so I can put a couple around the house! The auto retract is nice to you don't leave the blade out/open! Great value and functionality! It doesn't have a locking feature because it auto retracts! Perfect mini utility knife for everyday use!

These are perfect! I love having a set of 4 ...I have one in my purse, one in my desk drawer, one near the kitchen trash, and one by the door. No more fishing around trying to find something (keys, screwdriver, kitchen knife, etc) to open or break down boxes! These are sharp and reliable! The safety is easy to slide, but keep me from setting it down open. And all for $5? Awesome! Yes, there are more sophisticated ones. But these are an awesome price, do the job, and are easy to use. It's not like an heirloom I'll be passing down. If they hold up for 6 months (no doubt will) then I'll be happy!

The media could not be loaded. These are sharp, but not meant for cutting boxes...the blade is too thin for that. ( I show more in my video.. altho I was holding the phone in one hand trying to show you... how it works... but I'm sure you'll get the idea??!! ..) However, I got them for cutting precise wallpaper...and they'd also be great for cutting the tape on moving boxes/fed-X letters... etc...They are smaller which I wasn't sure about at first... but Now that I'm using them I realize I LOVE That They are smaller as I can utilize them more precisely with confidence...also really appreciate that the blade retracts automatically .. lightweight but NOT Flimsy.. well built for what they are...NOT HEAVY-DUTY Jobs...also love the 4 pack & pastel colors.. GREAT for keeping "ON-HAND".. Like in the car or in Ur Purse... Garage.. or junk drawer as they really do come in handy.. and Reliable with the auto retract blade, for Safety ...GREAT Price point!!! GOOD DEAL, GOOD Quality... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Lefties beware. They are pretty and sharp but if you’re left handed they are not as easy to grasp. you will need to use your index finger to hold the button.

This is my second time purchasing this type of box cutter. We have always used larger metal box cutters or slimmer, long ones, but they have never been durable or comfortable. I decided to try these, and they are perfect. When I'm cleaning around the house, I always keep one in my pocket because you never know when you might need it. They are easy to use, comfortable on my hands, and do not get stuck. They retract automatically, so you don’t risk leaving them lying around with the blade exposed. They are extremely lightweight, come in beautiful colors, and the blades are sharper than those of the larger box cutters.
