Super low watts on second highest setting at 9-11 watts!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this based on low watt use. I also have a similar Levoit model 100S which has an internet function, but I do not use that function and prefer to keep them running 24/7 except in rooms with outside airflow during the day. This one has lower watts on the second highest setting at only 9-11 watts. Levoit 100S is closer to 14-15 on that setting but seems to have slightly stronger air flow. Neither one is very useful on lower settings than the highest 2, in my view. The highest setting requires abt 21 watts for this one and 29-34 for Levoit (watt use seems to vary by filter choice on Levoit). Once again, Levoit 100S has slightly more air flow on the highest setting, as well. One reason for the higher watts on Levoit may be its wi-fi, not sure, or maybe the motor is a tad larger, I don't know.I do not like the filters on either one as I am not a fan of a carbon filters anyway. On my old models I always discarded them. I think I discovered why they have them attached and glued on on this and the Levoit and that is that the type of filters they use seem to have an odd odor without the carbon filter after I cut them off. Thus, I simply buy the second highest merv filtrete filters in the largest size and cut them to fit, using some of the extra material to make my own prefilter, and it works well. The highest merv filtrate filter (black) also has an odd odor. I can make 2 out of one 20X30 filtrete filter with enough material left over to make pre-filters. If you choose to do this, you will need to wear gloves to protect yourself as you cut through the wire. The filtrete whole house filter I use is not a hepa filter either so simply check to see if it will remove what you need to remove from the air. Both models are noisy-ish on the highest setting only, with the Levoit being just bit quieter and less annoying. The larger Levoit 200S is the least noisy of all on the highest setting, but once again, you will be using about 34 watts. That does not sound like much, and is far-far better than you got on older machines, but when you leave something on 24/7 it adds up. Second highest setting (3) being the most useable setting for these smaller models, the smaller models are best for small - medium rooms. This one is simply less expensive, but has no wi-fi and Levoit is quieter on high, so it depends on what you are looking for.I am looking for low watts and 9-11 watts on level 3 on this one can't be beat and this has a lower price and so, this is a good one for me, since I could care less about using an app to control it. Both have rectangular filter compartments as well, so it is easy to do cut to fit with other filters, as well.By reading other reviews, it seems that others do not mind the filters that come with this or Levoit and like them. It seems to be only me since I have never liked a carbon filter and find them irritating. I debated giving it a 5 because it is loud high and the filters are not what I typically like, but regardless, it is one I prefer for my purposes and you can't beat the low watts.

Economical and efficient air purifier
Needed to find an alternative for my old Hunter air purifiers which I can't get realistically priced filters for anymore. Saw this little unit on prime days and thought I would give it a try since it has high rated HEPA filters and the prime days cost of this unit and extra filters was comparable to just buying replacement filters for the old Hunters. I have a three level home with about 1000 sq ft on each level. We both have allergies. We have a long haired cat (confined to one area of the house but the hair is apparently not). We also can, bake, and mill grains for homebrewing which puts a lot of particulates in the air. Finally, we are plagued with mold, road and field dust, and high pollen from living in a rural area. I was really surprised the first night we ran the new unit in our 300 sq ft bedroom. For the first time in years we woke up with clear sinusus. I bought two more of these units and now have one on each level of the house. I run them on high for two hours a day and then set them on "sleep" mode the rest of the day which maintains a very low but consistent air circulation. I bought several two packs of extra filters with the units and I am hoping the filters last for the 4-6 months as advertised. So far no problems and there is a very noticeable improvement in air and sleep quality.

Nice clean air!
Does a fantastic job of purifying the air in our house. We have long haired cats and live on dirt roads. It does a great job of automatically turning on when cooking is happening and when we have windows open. Love the wireless feature and syncs well with the app and Alexa.

Pet Owners- BUY THIS!!
I’ve only had it for 3 days, and it has made such a noticeable difference! I have 5 large dogs (all over 70lbs) and two cats. One of my cats and I have asthma, and he hasn’t had an asthma attack since we got this filter, and I find it much easier to breathe! I no longer see particle of dust or fur floating in the air, in fact the ones I do see get sucked in to the filter pronto. The filter itself is a lot smaller than I expected, but this little baby is easily handling our living room (pet room), kitchen, and laundry room. Photo of dogs for proof, and the filter that has been working overtime for 3 days. Yes it is dirty on the outside but that is easily wiped off.

Very quiet and seems to work
Very quiet and I can tell the difference in the air. I live in an area where we keep having poor air quality alerts due to wild fire smoke so I purchased this so that at least my air inside would be cleaner. It is very quiet, has timers and even a place for essential oil if you want to had a scent to the air.

Works well
Works well, my house smells fresh when I walk in. After the first day of use, my daughter and son walked in at different times and both said the house smelled fresh and clean. I bought replacement filters but you can wash the one that’s in it. There’s also a spot to drop essential oils if you’re wanting that. It definitely takes out the musty stuffy smell I get once in a while. I keep mine running 24/7. It has 4 settings I switch it around.

Great for pet hair!
amazing!! easy to take apart for filter changes, and the directions and design are very simple to use. does have some sound to it but it’s nothing compared to having a regular oscillating fan, easy to ignore and drown out. has been great at managing the pet hair around the house, I have a short haired tabby but we would still find dust bunnies and clumps of hair all over!

It works great for removing cigarette smoke! Its quiet and easily cleaned. A friend came by and couldn’t believe how well it worked, he took a picture and says he is going to buy one! He doesn’t smoke but his wife does.
