Bought this for a business trip to Bengaluru in India. Works well, although the sockets where I was working were the multi plug design and accepted the UK plugs directly. Worked fine in the hotels etc. Compact so not too bulky.

Sturdy product and great value

As I’m writing this, I’m plugged in using the adaptor in India. It arrived at my home address before the estimated date of delivery, we’ll packaged and appeared well made and robust. I have since used it around northern India successfully (without any excessive heat generated by the device), and even managed to use it onboard a coach to recharge my phone.

This is also a UK lighting standard and is really really useful for plugging in lamps or usb devices which you either don’t want or cannot chop plug off due to it being a little transformer for example. Found this perfect to power a tiny usb transformer for powering hive controller. Fitted a round pin to lighting circuit and used this so it all stays compliant.

Good quality plug that we use at home in the UK as it converts 3-pin lighting sockets to standard plugs. We used this at Christmas and plugged the tree lights in so we could control them at the light switch. As a plug it was sturdy and good quality, unlike some of the cheap ones available. I'm sure it also works well for the intended purpose!
