This was the first time I’ve worked with caning. It was pretty easy, and overall I am pleased with the outcome. This was a quick project and the caning took stain pretty well. One side took it darker than the other, so test that out on a corner if you want to stain it. I did have a topical allergic reaction to the caning, so that may be something to be aware of, but overall, I’m pleased with me project piece.

Needed to send it overseas to a friend of mine - it's a great product!

I needed extra rattan to finish a project so I placed a second order but got a completely different color delivered. They are both pretty but I need similar colors to finish my project.

I love that this arrived rolled, wrapped in paper and with a cute sticker. The rattan is high quality and will look wonderful in the project I have planned for it. 10 million stars.Also a hack if you've never worked with rattan before: soak it in water before stapling it to your wood. it relaxes the fibers and makes it easier to work with. Additionally, it will shrink back tighter and you won't need to worry about it sagging!
