My system will only seem to accept 5 digit codes. How many digits do the pre installed codes have?

is the proxy key fob water proof ?

So far as I can tell from using them, they're sealed, but I wouldn't recommend sustained immersion. Probably water *resistant* if you drop it in the bath or get it wet in the rain.
