The book series itself is great, my son loves them and it's really captured his imagination at 10 years of age, it's great he is reading so much (he can't put it down) however we bought these books as a collection, expecting them to be new and all to look the same but the the fourth book 'The Dark Secret' is clearly used and has the older version of the Scholastic Publishers design - it's still in reasonable condition but does have a few creases and looks 'well read' - as it wasn't a gift, we are okay about it but I certainly would've sent this collection back if I had bought it as a gift, hence only 3 stars as we didn't really get what we had paid for.

A must for all dragon fans. My daughter could not put them down.
