Can be adjusted to fit your rack. With 2 screws in each corner I think I could easily stand on it.

This is a very well made 1U rack shelf. All required fittings were supplied, and it integrates well with the StarTech adjustable depth 42U 4 post open frame rack which I also bought. Just what I needed and easy to fit.

I own 4 and let me tell you these are sturdy. My servers have 15+ hard drives each and these hold them fine.

Just like another review mentioned, it is a pain to install on an existing rack. Fortunately for me I did not give up and after an hour, I managed to get it installed. What made it harder was that this was for the lowest part of my rack.I only bought it since my rack is also by StarTech, but I'm not sure, like another reviewer mentioned, it's worth $100. The build quality is there, which will definitely be hard to find if you were to go with a cheaper alternative.I'm considering purchasing another for the upper portion of my rack, but it also is slightly too deep. Just a few inches. Not a huge problem given that I can still close my closet door.
