Itoen Powdered Green Tea with Matcha 40 g

So this is not a ceremonial grade matcha powder, is green tea powder with matcha, having said this I personally really enjoy this product as it is inexpensive, is easy to mix with water, the flavour is not bitter and is great for matcha lattes. I tried other similar Japanese matcha mixes for daily use and this is the one I like the most, also because is sugar free and the ingredients list is so short.

I keep coming back to this green tea matcha blend. The taste is great and is so easy to make up which means i can make a cup on the go.I spent 1 month in Japan and this is just as good as what i was drinking out there.

A very good everyday green tea (with a pinch of matcha). I like the 'instant' aspect of it, disolves easily in either cold or hot water. Good price if you buy it from 'Japanstore', and quick delivery, too (arrived within 10 days after I placed the order).update (2/01/2019): the price has increased significantly since one year ago, not sure if this is worth it (as it has very little matcha).

We Japanese people usually buy this Macha powder from this Ito-en back in Japan.So it is very reliable, and taste is the same (of course water is different from Japan, so it tastes bit different which I can not complain)We drink this put in cold water and shake a few times until it is solved in the water. No ceremonial, no need to posh.Green tea works to help to kill germs. So it is used in nursing home (especially) to gaggle. I am glad that I can buy this in the UK.My thicker matcha powder is getting shorter, (from Ito-en which I could find in the UK ) unfortunately, but I can still have the pure Matcha, cold green tea in the UK. For me, for Japanese, this Ito-en’s one is the best!

No need for tea bags or steeping this tea dissolves with water to make a tasty brew.Be careful whom you purchase off as some Audio sellers in Japan have had supply problems and you'll never get the goods. Under normal circumstances you would wait 4 weeks for it to arrive from a good reputable seller.

This is just like instant coffee, but for green tea. It’s convenient and easy to make Japanese tea in a mug without having to deal with tea leaves and a tea pot.

I love this matcha brand, the taste, how easy it dissolves and how cool it is to have the Japanese packaging in the kitchen counter. Buy this for years and will continue to do so!
