Easy to install and use, great value for money

Having looked at online videos, I realised that replacing the broken handle on my double-glazed windows should be easy. This product had a good review and was a great price. Delivery was super quick. I removed the old broken handle and replaced it with the new one within 15 minutes or so. It works beautifully and looks great. No need to employ a trades person to do this. You just need a screwdriver. I had finished the job before my husband realised what I was doing!

These are well built, they are the same dimensions as advertised and generally good as a direct replacement.However, a few things to note.1) These are not the same as seen in the photos, the lock is completely depressed instead of protruding and so it's not easy to lock and twist to open - you need to fully insert the tip of your finger, so for those with finger problems, this will not work for them.SOLUTION: Use the key in the lock to un/lock.BUT they are not the same product, so if you're looking for something to match your current handles, like me, be prepared!2) The screws that fix the handle to the window frame are too short, so one of them does not work, e.g. it's not long enough to screw to the frame. This is the screw hidden beneath the handle when it is in the locked position. This is because this part of the handle's construction is thicker and the screw does not reach far enough.SOLUTION: Use your existing handle screws, this worked for me as my ones were long enough to reach in the new handle.

I needed to replace a window handle that had jammed locked and once I managed to release it, I realised it would jam again once closed. I managed to release it by sliding a Stanley knife blade into the tiny space between the part of the handle that turns and the handle base that is fixed to the window.This replacement fitted perfectly, took two minutes to fix into place and needed no adjustment at all. I appreciate that a replacement tries to cover a multitude of possibilities, so some people will have needed to saw down the centre spindle to length or use previous screws to fix in place. For me, it was a like for like replacement. The only difference is the key. It should be OBVIOUS (but for some reviewers it isn't), that not all locks have the same key. What would be the point in having a locking key if it was that easy? So I now have one window with a different locking key. A small price to pay for a brand new lock that cost under £3 and is a quality product with a new Yale key!

Replaced the 2 damaged window latches in less than 10 minutes.So easy to install and look and feel as if they were professionally installed.

This feels nice & solid. It's so easy to install, it took about 2 minutes, unscrewing the old handle & screwing this new handle in the old one's place. It opens to the left & right. What else can I say, it does what it says on the tin. Great.

Emm I don't know if the product had a Quality inspiration ? But the coating wz CHIPPED AT THE TOP but I've still used it Thanks 🤔 White nail varnish will do the trick but only when my Wife gets some. 🤪😏😜
