I just ordered the product and there's no base plate to help ot rotate? please assisr asap!!!

Are you sure you’ve got it the right way round? I had mine the wrong way up to begin with. If not, go back to the seller and let them know.

Do the items stay still when rotating? Obviously we shan't be turning it too fast but I have visions of the items falling out ....

May need to contact seller directly for extra products. It’s pretty compact once you use up all the shelves provided but I promise you can fit a lot and it’s really beautiful and high quality. Would reccommend product and excellent customer service.
