As described and is incredibly sturdy with high quality finish. Well packaged, mine came assembled (possibly a return) but assembly looked straight forward. A word of warning - this type of door frame assembly, requires a wide door, with no obstruction above the door frame ( no cables or trunking) and a reasonable amount of space either side of the door frame- a door in a corner or directly perpendicularly to a wall or outcrop will not have sufficient space. Of the 7 doorways in my small flat only one was suitable. Also be advised on installation the door won’t be able to be closed and has to remain in the open position.This type of device is easily removal, no screws, no drilling, is just angled into place so securely hangs.The grips supplied are comfortable and a good size. Be advised some pull up bars do have more grip points available- but I found those on this model more than sufficient for my needs.Functionality is as advertised. A great product. Buy with confidence.

I am very impressed with this product,I was comparing getting a stand or one that gets drilled outside.This ticks all the boxes.It is very sturdy, easy to use, easy to put away and does no damage to the door frame.The grip gets a little slippery if you are doing a lot of pull ups however it is comfortable.It fits on my door frame however it doesn’t fit on all of them you need to measure the door frame width and make sure you have enough space on each side.The design is great not only for pull ups but for pushups and especially triceps dips.There is no movement when using.You would think they have sponsored me for this review lolI highly recommend.

My daughter asked for a pull up bar. I'm not sure how long she'll use it so I wanted something easy to install, not too expensive, and removable! The JX FITNESS Door Frame Pull Up Bar is very good. It's incredibly easy to fit, very sturdy and so far hasn't left any marks. My only criticism is that it is considerably wider than a typical UK door frame so although it fits within the frame, cannot be hung where there are adjacent walls. The photographs only show it on wider than average doors. Hence 4 stars not 5.

We've tried a variety of home pull-up bars. That includes others that hang in a doorway and also free-standing frames that take up more space. This is better than all of them. It's really sturdy and versatile, feels totally safe, but is super easy to take down and put up. It doesn't damage your door frame either (previous ones have). You do need a bit of room either side of the door to accommodate it, though, so be sure to measure and check that.

Good, sturdy product, but far from universal compatibility….only works on one doorframe in my house, which crucially isn’t the one I wanted to use it on

Very easy to install, very sturdy, I weigh approx 15 stone and it didn't move / show any strain when in use. It fits standard doors very easily. hwn not in use folds down and slim so easy to store under a bed or wardrobe etc... I have had extendable bars and cheaper pull up bar options before which I always felt would fail / slip while using.... not this one, its great..... 5 stars, great pull up bar.

I am really pleased with my purchase. The frame fits snuggly against my chosen door frame and I feel very safe doing some simple hanging exercises. The frame will allow pull-ups but I don’t yet have the strength for these exercises as I’m recovering from a shoulder impingement.
