Archery maintenance made simple.Thread is tough, consistent, and easy to grip. The serving jig adds stability when tying peep sights or repairing bowstrings. Great for DIY hunters or backyard archers. I paired this with custom paracord wraps and it held beautifully.

Worth the money
This product works great. I did go on tube to figure out how to thread it before using.I served my bowstring, looked great after, arrows released well, accuracy didn't change, holding up great. I'm happy.Serve one strong and it pays for itself.

Worked fine.
I made a longbow and a Flemish twist string for it. Needed to serve the string and this worked great.

It works fine.
If the wing nut had a lock washer on it I would give it 5 stars. It tends to come lose while winding the serving and you have to stop to reset the tension, but its hardly an inconvenience. Maybe if you are a pro working in a bow shop doing this all day you will want something better. It works fine for the few times / year I need it. The string it comes with is surprisingly durable.

Hard to adjust the tension and keep it but I would expect no less for the price.. great item!
