Hi, would this be good for a 7 yr old?

Depends, it is a great remote control toy. As a coder not so much. I was wanting something to help teach my 5 yr old students to code.

Do i need to charge before first use?

I sent this to my granddaughter. I'm pretty sure no charging is needed as it came with a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. I don't think batteries were included.

Is it possible to purchase a replacement remote control?

I honestly dont know. BUT I know this piece of info, it's a great toy. My kids loved it ....for a short amount of time Maybe reach out to the seller, they could assist in answering your question. From the horses mouth they say.

Fun toy for my daughter

This product was chosen by my daughter (and myself). She received a gift card for her birthday so this was a very special purchase for her. What drew her to it initially was the pink color. It came in packaged nicely in a box. Once we got the batteries installed she was excited to play with it. The eyes light up which is very cute. It does make some beep boop noises but those can be turned off which is a very nice touch. The robot is responsive to the control and actually moves pretty quick. Once of the buttons on the remote makes the robot move around on its own which we call "dance mode". The controller has a few extra decorative buttons that don't have a function but are fun to press non the less. So far very happy with this purchase.

Granddaughter loves it!

I got this for my 5 yr old granddaughter as a gift and it was a hit! It has good sound, very crisp. The plastic is good and hard, solid, of good quality. The size is small but perfect for fun and play. Price was reasonable.

UPDATE - Cute, but broken

CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND THEY SENT A NEW TOY. THIS ONE WORKS PERFECTLY. I THANK THEM FOR THEIR HELP WITH THIS.I bought this as a Hanukkah gift for my granddaughter and unfortunately one of the wheels does not work and the return window is now closed. Hopefully my husband can figure out what is wrong with it, if not it’s a total waste of money. Very disappointed.

Since i got it in sale i give it 4 star for price. If full price 2 stars. The picture makes yiu believe the controller can turn the head and move the arm, but it doesn’t. Any ways niece had fun with it and thought it was cute. So with sale price over all i rate this 4 stars, 2 if full price
