It was not very difficult. I have done a few of them and they are very relaxing.

Are the holes for the nails pre-drilled?

Hi LeAnne! No, the holes are not pre-drilled in the pine wooden board. Hammering the nails into the board is very easy because the soft pine wood allows for the skinny wire nails to slide inside the wood after 2-3 light taps with the hammer.
