I came to RTT after a 10 year journey of self-discovery, of trying to figure out what was going on in my life! Having had a traumatic childhood and suffering the consequences of that well into adulthood. I have to say that RTT definitely made the most sense out of everything that I tried and researched, so much so that I went on to train as an RTT practitioner. I am now newly qualified and this book has arrived at the perfect time, as using the kindle format, I am able to highlight and export all of the questioning techniques used in the different case studies and that really helps with my own onging learning and development. The techniques given in this book will help you to eliminate, as I have, all inclination to ever surrender to negative self-talk again. Put simply, no matter how insurmountable your problem seems, you can and will live a better life through the power of this book and through having an RTT session!

I'm a fan of Marisa's work and in this book she shares case studies that many people will be able to relate to. She also generously invites the reader to use audios that accompany the book so that they can help themselves. We are programmed to lie to ourselves all the time and that leads to unhappiness. If we all started telling ourselves a different truth, then perhaps our lives could be happier as a result. Also a useful read for those contemplating training in RTT .

When I discovered Marissa peer on a podcast early this year I couldn’t have imagined the impact she would have on my life. She is truly a beacon of light and what she teaches is so simple. I absolutely love her and would recommend listening to her seminars/meditations on YouTube.This book covers everything she is all about. It is absolutely amazing. I've been following Marisa's work for about 4 years (books and she has a huge youtube channel which is worth looking through) and it has changed my life. Initially I was sceptical and thought it all looked a bit too Hollywood for me but everything she teaches/writes about applies to everyone regardless of gender, age or finances.She is completely correct in saying that when life is going on around you, the only thing that you can really control is your own thoughts and Marisa is the Queen of teaching you how to master your mind. You have to want to do it though, it takes a bit of practice but if you stick with it the rewards are huge. This book is engaging, it gets to the point, easy to understand and has plenty of audio downloads to help you get the best results.

In this book, Marisa summarises every puzzle out there that explains the power of the mind. The introduction is eye opening for what is to come in the psychology, neuroscience, and any self-help field. The cases are well illustrated so that anyone can relate to it in one way or another, because we are all the same. If we are willing to do the work, it teaches us how to start the road to take back our power through choosing to not be hypnotised by our surroundings and instead become awake and aware of what we will allow to take in…. that is our power. I loved this book. I've loved all of Marisa's book but this one is by far the best because it takes you behind-the-scenes of Rapid Transformational Therapy to see not only what it's all about, but how it actually works for people. When this form of hypnotherapy is described in this way, it all makes sense. For the people Marisa works with in the book, I thank them for allowing us to read their stories. I'm not going to lie, I shed quite a few tears not just because their stories were so emotional but because of their breakthroughs and how they finally get to live their lives. Amazing. Do yourselves a favour, read the book (have tissues close by) then book an RTT session. I've seen the power of what it can do first hand.
