Innova 5568 Pro Digital Timing Light with Storage Case

I don't know how I lived without this. It makes it so easy to set the ignition on my cars. Well worth the extra money.

It works well and makes it easy to see timing marks. Be careful when attaching to the plug wire. As a vehicle is idling the inductive clamp slid down the wire and got a little toasted on the headers, but that’s my fault not the tools and even after it got toasted it still works just fine.

I was amazed that this was delivered over night! I used it immediately after I received it and it worked great for my motorcycle I hope it lasts me a life time. I had a vintage Sears that I will have to retire now because I love the tach read out and dwell meter that is built into this timing light. Looking forward to using it more often this summer:)

I previously had the Innova 3555 timing light and I have to say I was less than impressed with that particular model. It seemed prone to inaccurate induction readings and fluctuations at random times; it got to the point where I just couldn't trust it and actually had to use an older timing light from the 1970's to confirm its readings and/or errors.After doing some research and checking reviews here on Amazon, I decided to give Innova's 5568 Pro model a shot. All I can say is "Wow, I'm impressed". This digital model is super easy to use. The directions are a bit lacking and confusing, but once you fire it up, it's very intuitive and easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised by how understandable the functions were once I started using it on the motor. Induction works 100% right out of the gate; no problems whatsoever. The digital timing advance/retard function worked really nicely also; you can push the arrows and watch the timing mark move forward or back 1 degree at a time. Very steady readings. I also appreciate that you can read the RPM's directly from the unit. This saves me from having to attach other diagnostic equipment. It's also nice to be able to turn off the flashing light when it's not needed.All in all, really impressed. Very nice timing light and seems to be very accurate and well designed/made. If you are considering between this model and the lower priced models, all I can say is the extra money gets you into a whole different ball park of quality. I wish I had gone with this model straightaway.

I had high hopes for this timing light, it seemed to have all the functions I needed. It worked for less than 2 minutes and then the light became so dim it would not illuminate the timing mark even in the dark.Of course, it is beyond the Amazon return window since I didn't need it for the first month. First use it failed me.Reached out to Innova customer support and they have been slow to respond and have not provided any useful help up to now.Not recommended.Update 9/5/24 : Amazon stood behind the product even though the manufacturer would not. Day 7 still no response from the manufacturer. If you purchase this product do not expect support from the manufacturer.Updated 9/27/24: Innova finally reached out to me and sent a return label for the timing light, no explanation just a label. Too bad Amazon already took care of this 3 weeks ago.Innova support is bad.

I bought this to work on my 68 Mustang affectionately named Skye that I recently purchased. I purchased this because of the built in tachometer feature. This is so incredibly helpful so that you don’t need a secondary tachometer or you don’t have to put it down and look at the tach on the gauge cluster. Skye doesn’t have a tach on the gauge cluster. Using this with a vacuum gauge made tuning up Skye a breeze!Hooked up a vacuum gauge, used this to adjust RPM’s and timing was so simple. None of Skye’s gauges work but I could also read the DC voltage and was able to verify the charging system was working also.I would purchase this again and I highly recommend it.This is my personal review and I have not received any discounts for it.
