They said it’s not that thick but it is so I am not using it unfortunately

Ordered this shorty 3mm wetsuit so I can use when swimming in late spring in the lakes here in BC.I used the size chart to determine what size I was going for. I am 5'10", 175lbs with a chest size of 40" and a waist size of 34". Based on the chart and sellers recommendations I should have ordered the XL. Instead, wanting to make sure I had a nice snug/tight fit I ordered the L. Should have been perfect. No it wasn't.Legs are too loose, body is kind of snug but more on the loose side, arms are loosish, and lots of space around the neck and shoulders. Obviously the sellers recommendations just don't work and now I'm forced to send this back. It is what it is, but I won't be buying important stuff like this again through Amazon or any other online retailer as getting the right size is obviously a bit of a crap shoot.Regarding the quality. It's OK. You really do get what you pay for. If you want something cheap and cheerful for occasional use and you don't want to pay for a good quality suit then by all means buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Beim Freiwasserschwimmen im Stausee war mir im spten August richtig kalt und ich wollte mir einen Neoprenanzug zulegen.Dieser hier ist unglaublich günstig und ich habe mir gedacht, dass ich es zum Einstieg damit einmal probieren könne, da ich mir nicht sofort einen richtig teuren holen wollte.Er ist mir etwas zu groß, ich habe XL mit 186cm und 90kg bei athletischer Figur bestellt, vermutlich wäre L enger (und somit passender) gewesen. Das liegt aber an meiner Auswahl und nicht am Fabrikat oder Hersteller. Ganz im Gegenteil: der Hersteller hat entsprechende Größeentabellen extra als Produktbild zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Tabellen dazu bitte genau beachten und dem Gewicht den Vorzug geben. Ich habe ihn behalten, da ich vermutlich noch Muskeln aufbauen werde, dann ist noch Platz nach oben.Trotzdem ist mir damit deutlich wärmer im Wasser, obwohl er nur 1,5 mm dick und ein shorty ist. Das wird wohl auch den Material technisch den Preis drücken. Mir ist jetzt am Stamm nicht mehr so kalt, dass mir die Kraft schwindet. Die Wasserkissen zwischen Haut und Neo wärmen wunderbar. Die kühlen Extremitäten beeinträchtigen mich auch nach 1h Schwimmzeit bis jetzt nicht. Wenn es herbstlicher wird, muss vielleicht noch ein langer Anzug her.Der Werkstoff, die Nähte und insbesondere der Reißverschluss sind 1A, da kann man nicht meckern. Ich bekomme den Reißverschluss auch alleine zu (Technik kann man bei einschlägigen online Plattformen als Tutorial anschauen). Ich empfehle auch dringend, sich mit dem Material zu beschäftigen. JEDER Neo geht durch Finger- und Fussnägel ganz leicht kaputt, auch die hochwertigen.Anfangs stinkt das Teil wie Hulle, mittlerweile aber kaum noch. Es ist aber auch ein Neoprenanzug und kein Duftwasser.Also zum Ausprobieren finde ich das Teil wirklich toll. Man bekommt eine grobe Vorstellung wie sich das anfühlt, was die Dicke und der Auftrieb bedeutet und wieviel Wärme das so bringt. Zur Orientierung beim Einstieg hat mir das sehr geholfen und ich kann das Produkt nur weiterempfehlen.
