Great ball machine for tennis buffs!
My husband is an avid tennis player and had a Wilson Ball machine for over 10 years. It finally stopped working so he bought a new Wilson ball machine from Amazon. The ball machine that he received was not working even after it was charged. He called the company and they immediately sent out another ball machine and had UPS pick up the first one that they had sent. He loves this machine and takes it out almost every day. He likes the fact that this new one tells you when your machine is charged and he also talks about the way that he can rotate the machine up so that it sends balls in various directions. For anyone who loves Tennis, this is a wonderful machine that can be used day after day after day and continue to work beautifully.

Nice machine for the price
Bought this for my step mom who is 74 and still likes to practice. It’s a nice machine but would recommend it with the remote

Overpriced, but decent
This product advertised that it can shoot balls up to 75 mph - it does not seem like that is the case. It might be able to shoot up to 75 mph in a certain setting (specific elevation, spin type, etc). I also don't like how this machine does not have a "random" option to be able to simulate a realistic match, especially given it's price point. Also, it is very cumbersome to move this to and from court (especially after using it for a couple hours), given the machine has one handle that is level with the machine, so you will have to walk and lean over the entire time. Other than those issues, this machine can deliver some consistent shots that allows you to practice some different types of shot. Seems overpriced for everything it offers, but it does well the limited shots it does offer.

Poor Value
Was very disappointed with this purchase as the battery doesn’t charge well and 13 months in, the battery is only lasting 25 minutes before beeping and dying. I expected better quality from Wilson given the cost of the item.

It does what it is supposed to, but.....
This thing works very well and it is doing amazing things for my game. It is not inexpensive, so for the price, they should however, have covered these annoying design flaws. The first and foremost short coming is the ball holder. You simply lift up the four sides that are folded down on the top when it is not in use to create the ball "basket", but these side flaps are terribly flimsy and the vibration of the machine operating will cause balls to fall out between the flaps. If you happen to hit a shot back that hits the unit, just plan on shutting it down and starting over, those flaps cannot withstand any contact. To overcome this, I drilled holes in the top of each flap on the ends and I use reusable twist-ties that I run through those holes to hold the flaps solid. Works like a charm but it shouldn't be necessary for the owner to do that, they should have figured out a better design. The other more subtle flaw is that the unit is somewhat inconsistent. I realize that an opponent will purposely be as inconsistent as possible (sort of the point of the game), but when using the machine, I would like to be able to concentrate on perfecting a particular shot. If the first ball comes to mid court but the one right behind it comes past the base line, it is hard to focus on a specific stroke. Those issues aside, I am using it constantly and find it to be a well made (other than the flaps) machine that is a great training asset.
