This is an exact replacement of the same pump I bought 20 years ago. The pumps works great from pumping out a spa or transferring water around a pool tp help winterize it.

Product was missing pieces. Motor burned out.
I just went to open this and the package had signs of already being opened (new tape to close the box). It was missing the valve to connect to a garden hose. I bought a new one - no big deal - $7. Then when I got it all rigged up, the motor was burned out. Now it is too late to return it. ANGRY!!!

it's a pump!
Despite arriving with half the "T" on the electrical cord housing broken, I kept it. I needed it right away. I've been using it on my in-ground pool and it does what it's supposed to do...IT PUMPS!This is the second one I've owned, and if it lasts as long as the first, it'll outlast me. Good deal.

Not reliable
Quit working a month and 3 days after purchase. Just past the return date.

Extupendid old craftsmanship of a pump
This pumps are great but this one was not tethered like my other one which last it at least 20 years on never falling.I neede a tether one so Amazon exchanged it at not cost to me instead some money was refunded to me.

good pump, but with limitations
This pump is handy, easily moved around, pumps down to 3/16", but cannot be left to work as needed as water rises or falls. It should not be left to run when there is no more water to pump.
