Even inside the shop I have a set of tools I keep on my person when working; pencil, knife, tape, etc. You can add one more to the list. This DFM Small Square is a must. It comes up all the time in woodworking, you need to "check square" this item can get it done with accuracy and usability. It isn't a monster that is bulky to carry around the shop, it is perfect for an apron pocket. The quality of the tool is awesome, and best of all it is made in the U.S.A.A great feature of the square is it allows you to use the provided pins to center mark boards. Quick and easy, no measuring needed (because we all know that 3/4" board doesn't mean a true 3/4"). If you are looking to make piston fit items, this square can help you do it.I didn't get anything for the review, these are my own words and I am not a robot or a paid reviewer. Will come in handy for checking board edges and dovetails for squareness. Nice quality aluminum product that matches my other square. I hav3 some more coming and will compare to those too. None of my squares are very expensive but if they are square I’n not a tool snob.

Great little tool. At first I couldn’t see the logic of this but the chatter about it compelled me to buy it. Now I find many uses like truing up a circular saw, checking cuts in small profile materials, and squaring plane irons and chisels. Highly pocketable and smooth in the hand. I new fav.

Big squares, big jobs. When you need something a bit smaller then this is a good choice. Accurate and handy. Fits in a pocket

This is primo! I love it's precision machining and design. It's easy as heck to find the center of a piece of wood, check square, and anything else I need this to do. It pops out in my tool mess with its blue color and seems like it will last.I like that it's made in the USA and comes with a couple pegs to hold it where it needs to be. It's a good addition to my workshop.

Like DFM's other products, this is a high quality tool. If you need a tiny square that also acts as a center finder then you should have this one near the top of the list. While there are cheaper options, they probably won't be at this level of quality.

Don’t buy a cheap, lightweight square from somewhere in SE Asia. Buy this one. Super accurate, easy to use, will last a lifetime, and supports a US manufacturer. Well worth the money.

It's pretty small and compact but it feels solid and nice in the hand. I like the center marking feature, overall I've used this thing way more than I thought I would! I'll have to add some more DFM tools to my collection.
