Good string wax
I use alot of traditional bows . I have put this on my strings for a while and it holds well with out being too sticky. It holds my tag ends down and keeps the string in good shooting order . Easy to use and easy to carry ,Throw it in the quiver and its there unharmed when you need it

I mean, it’s wax
It’s bow string wax. I was using cheaper stuff but the way people talk about this, I had to try it. It’s no different than any other string wax I’ve used. Lol it’s hard to mess up wax. I think people pay extra just because it has the word “snot” in the name.

Made by the Gods of Wax
Finally! I don't have to use my own snot to clean up my bowstring and look like a weirdo at the archery range... Just kidding, don't do that. I recently bought an old compound bow that was made in 1986. It was brand new in a box with the original string on it... it felt a tiny bit rough with somewhat of a tougher than normal resistance when drawing and firing. I decided against replacing the string and see if I could just wax it to somewhat lubricate and smoothen it out. Bought this incredible gluestick sized of magical wax and tried it out on the string. It is a very easy application, just like using a gluestick or chapstick. (Be careful not to press on it too hard when applying it to the string or you're going to end up with awkward indentations on the wax stick. Remember, less is more). After a few uses to get the wax into the string, the bow started firing signicantly better with a quieter "twang", "thwack", or whatever the sound effect is referred to as, as well as drawing got much more efficient and smooth.Would definitely recommend this for any archer of any skill and experience level, for ANY type of bows or crossbows. Would not recommend to use as chapstick or as a gluestick however.

Great product
I have to admit, the name of the product threw me a bit. The word "snot" brings to mind images I will not mention here. I was looking for a high quality wax for my hunting bow, and String Snot certainly will not disappoint. After reading multiple reviews on other sites, as well as videos on Youtube, I bought it. It really lubricates the string well, and restored a fraying string to like new quality. In researching string waxes, I found a video that tests the freezing claims made by the various manufacturer. The video maker applied String Snot to his bow, then left it outside overnight in a -5 degree Minnesota winter. Not only did it not freeze, which every other wax did, the string was still fully functional early the next morning. The man fired an arrow right off his porch, and the string reacted as normal. Great product, highly recommend to protect your investment.

Using bow resin between uses keeps your bow strings in proper working order
Bow resin is very important to keep your bow strings in great shape between uses. I like not having to drive all over the place trying to find some.

Slick as two eels mating in a bucket of snot
I don't use it on bow string but rather tennis strings (Multifilament and Synthetic Gut) when stringing tennis racquets and encountering a blocked hole with another soft string. Without Stringsnot, it is like trying to put an oyster in a slot machine.I doubt 30-06 Outdoors ever thought their product would find a home among tennis stringers, but after Allen's Bow Wax dried out like a old cherry, I found this. I haven't tried on Natural Gut Mains as a subsitute for wax just yet, but will as the temp rise.I took a chance on this product and it far exceeded my expectations.

Works well, good size (like a large paper glue stick)
This string wax looks like it comes in one of those little "lip balm"-sized containers. It doesn't! It's more of a size of a large paper glue stick.Seems to work very well and last a long time. I tested it, shooting my bow outside in -12C weather for an hour (at which point my hands got too cold in thin gloves). The wax definitely got thicker, but did not freeze and crystallize, continuing to work as expected!
