This diamond coated drill bit is excellent. I have drilled through multiple 1 cm thick bathroom tiles with good amount of water, drill bit still looks like a new drill bit!

With water and at low speed - as suggested - it made six holes in tiles and two deep ones in stone and is still in working condition.Update: after half year of use to and additional 20 holes made in tiles and stone it is still functional.
