Part fits, some disassembly required

The product was said to fit my 2011 Tahoe. Indeed it fit. I'm including a photo showing that the back needs to be removed. A hex key will fit but the screws are stars. The Top Padded surface needs to be removed using a putty knife etc - six or so snap latches. Once it is off, a phillips head scredriver is used to remove the broken off latch for replacement. it fit perfectly and repair was inexpensive.

Works as intended

These will last a couple years then eventually break. I have had make a spacer to go between the lid and latch so that it will work, but other than that, works fine.

Latch Fixed!

The media could not be loaded. My center console latch broke quite some time ago on my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, and it was driving me nuts that I couldn't lift it up into a seat position without everything flying out of it. The installation was quick and easy, and so far it is holding up quite well! I definitely recommend!
