Did not like the foot ottoman made for this chair. Did not like the cushion made for this chair. With all that the chair and the cushion are beyond comfortable. I love it. Will be spending summer in it.

The media could not be loaded. This is not your ordinary folding plastic chair! You can tell that this is a quality product made of quality materials. I love that there was no assembly required. Just pull it out of the box and you're good to go. The reclining feature is simple and easy to use. Folding the chair into it's storage position took me a second to figure out at first, but once I figured it out, I had no problem doing easily every time. I found that if you lean the chair back slightly on the rear legs, the chair folds up no problem. I'm a big guy (6'4" 220 lbs), and I felt safe and secure in this chair. I didn't feel like it was going to collapse under my weight. The chair was comfortable. I can tell it's going to last a long time. I think it's a good value for the price and would recommend this product to others.

I use these chairs on my outdoor covered patio. They are super comfortable, sturdy and easy to use.

I live 2 blocks from the beach. I’ve tried different chairs through the years on my front porch. I have to contend with salt air, sand blowing on the house and porch, and wind and rain. The wicker furniture unwound and cracked, dropping little pieces of plastic wicker all over the floor, other chairs rusted. I’m hoping these Kettler Roma Resin Highbacks last longer then the others. They look beautiful and are well made. The back can lean back four notches. They are sturdy. I bought moss green cushions which look very nice. I didn’t have to assemble them, just pulled them out of box and opened them. They fold very easily for storage.

For over 20 years we used a chair of similar design, and loved them. They were very comfortable, high backed, sturdy, with 4-5 reclining positions. Eventually the resin (plastic) deteriorated in the sun, and they became a breakage hazard.We scoured the local stores and the internet, but found only these chairs from a German company. The very high price was almost a turn-off, but we found nothing else to compare, so we ordered two.The chairs seem well made and should last. However they are not as well made or comfortable as the previous ones. I'm giving these four stars only because we could not find anything better.As mentioned by other reviewers, due to poor packaging the hinge pins came out during shipping. Close inspection showed that the pin locking tabs were cracked. The U.S. distributor was very responsive and sent us replacement pins in about 2 weeks. The new pins had a modification that looks like it will keep the pins in place. Even so, I glued them in place so there is no chance of them popping out.

I very much like the appearance and sturdiness of this chair.

amazing chair! very comfortable , don't need pillow for my lower back, not heavy to carry, gorgeous lines, exceeded my expectations, nice feelwill see how it weathers....

Awesome chairs took me a long time to find. Comfortable easy to store different settings for a snooze or a family dinner. Easy to clean and sturdy. Only thing is now I have to find fitting cushions the normal ones are fine but I could have them longer.

Dies ist ein Nachkauf.Die ersten Kettlerstühle hielten 30 Jahre und standen das ganze Jahr bei Wind und Wetter draußen.Die Stühle sind ergonomisch richtig konstruiert, so dass man sehr bequem darin sitz.Mann kann die Rückenlehne weit absenken und hat dann unter Zuhilfenahme eines kleinen Hockers einen Liegesessel für den Mittagsschlaf :-)

As expected for the price, this is a top quality garden chair. It is easy to adjust by lifting the arms and the back has a good range of reclining positions, from upright to around 45 degrees. It is very sturdy and stable, which is what I wanted, and quite generous in size. I also like that it has a lock to stop the chair from folding unexpectedly. It's very easy to move around once folded, although not exactly small. The only problem for me was working out how to fold it back up using the extremely basic diagram provided. But once I worked it out, it was fine. Oh, and I was slightly disappointed not to get a cushion with it as another reviewer said they did. Finally, I was a bit worried about ordering from Germany but the service was excellent - the chair arrived well-packed and in under a week. All in all, a good buy that should last for many years.
