Extra small is too small for 8.5 inch foot length. These socks are so tight in the ankle section they are impossible to put on. Could not get them past my foot much less my ankle.

Way too big for a woman's 8.5. Gave these to my husband and ordered a small. Maybe should have gone to extra small. I do have a narrow foot. Otherwise, easy to put on and does work well scuba fins.
