Cross Beverly Refillable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Ballpen, Includes Premium Gift Box - Pearlescent White Lacquer

Once I opened the package, I immediately fell in love with the color, quality and weight of this beautiful Cross Ballpoint Pen. First of all I'm not one to usually spend money on any type of office supplies, the bare basics available at any walgreens, cvs or walmart is usually enough... However after starting my new job (in a white collar environment) and having to take datailed notes (for hours) every day. I have noticed (and can definitely appreciate) the higher quality of a smoother writing instrument. It is for this reason that I decided to look up better quality pens than what I have been typically using... And that led me to this cross ballpoint pen... 1st of all I didn't know what exactly I was looking for, all I knew was that I wanted something better than the typical 12 for $5 pens. Yes it is much more expensive than anyone really needs to spend on a pen, But I decided to treat myself... And I'm glad I did. To most people the quality of your handwriting doesn't really make a bit of difference... However since I decide to dress my best everyday to distinguish myself, I decided that I might as well get a pen that matches my outlook and attitude at work. I will seriously consider getting 2 or 3 more...

I liked the first one I bought last month, I decided ordered another. Now I have one at home and one to travel with me. It has a nice weight without being heavy. It feels good holding it and writes smoothly. The ink dries quickly without bleeding through the pages. I'm using one for journaling and find I can write on both sides of the page. If I had an improvement to recommend, it would be that the cap it a bit hard to take off and it doesn't stay on the other end when I'm writing. Perhaps the cap will eventually come off easier after the pen has been used for a while. In the case of it not staying in place on top as I write, perhaps the pen is not designed to be used this way. I do have a fondness for longer pens. It comes in a sturdy, giftable box. Beautiful gift for any occasion and for anyone who uses a pen.

I love the weight of this pen in my hand. I was afraid it would be lightweight but it has a good heft in the hand. The yellow is bright but matte so it looks elegant against the chrome edging. This writes well, looks good, and is comfortable to hold. Great pen! I liked it so much I came back for the translucent cobalt blue (see picture). It’s a shiny deep blue and writes beautifully right out of the box.

Good working pen that you can use daily. It has a bit of style and the price point is good, if you lose it somehow....I had a good Montblanc beforehand and lost it in a Post Office...this pen serves just as adequately for a fraction of the price of the Montblanc.

I had to write a review for this pen after I saw some of the more recent reviews, which I believe to be unfair. I've been using this pen for about a year now and it has served me very well. As a college student, I use this pen for extensive note taking on a daily basis. My notes, in turn, come out looking beautiful. The lines of the nib flow well, and there is beautiful variation in the thickness of the line. Being a fountain pen, it does take a moment for the ink to begin flowing or the occasional shake, but once it begins the flow is wet and constant. The pen is heavy and the weight is evenly distributed, making it easy to balance and write with. It does come with four ink refills, and they are nice, however I purchased a refillable cartridge and variety of inks to use instead. The pen is easy to clean and flush. I flush it about once every two weeks, and it keeps the flow moving. Overall, a wonderful beginner fountain pen and well with the price. I highly recommend it.

My partner, who owns many Cross pens tried this one out and said, “for the money, this is the best, smoothest writing pen he’s used.” Good weight, smooth twist action, great ink flow. I’ll take his word for the mechanics, I’m just in love with the Coral color and writes beautifully for a lefty who can have problems with pens at times.

I have been searching for a pen just like this! I ordered another Cross pen and a Pentel pen, neither of which were right for me. This Beverly pen is not only visually appealing, but is also the perfect weight. It writes very smoothly and in a bold line (which is what I was specifically looking for). Highly recommend this pen!

I am a pen fanatic. I own 6 Cross pens now, on top of countless others. This pen works with Cross Gel Rolling Ball Refill 0.7 mm and writes very smooth. This pen is made of metal, so it is solid. It may feel a bit heavy to some people, but I like it. It definitely looks expensive & is quality made. I thought that it may be too think to hold but it is not: it's thinner around than Cross Edge, for example. It has removable cap. I wold say I would recommend it as a gift for someone who really appreciates finer things in life!

Lovely pen, quality feel and well balanced. I’ve seen a review saying the end is blanked off and after sending back they received another the same… this pen has a lid, you take the lid off and viola, you have a useable pen!

Delivered well within the expected time frame. Bought this as a present and the person that received it is very satisfied with it! I am no stranger to Cross pens myself and I had a go with it since and this is beautiful pen to write with! Really nicely weighted and very solid feel to the construction, as you would expect from cross! My only doubts is it may be slightly heavy for anyone with weak or damaged wrist to write with for long periods with, due to the weight! Although this would be of no concern to myself or the person that received it as a gift from me! Contemplating adding on to my own collection! I bought the black one for them so may add the silver/chrome to my current stock pile!

Très beau design et conforme aux attentes. par contre la mine perd un peu d'encre en début d'écrire, c'est dommage au prix de la recharge !
