This book is one of three I picked up for an overview of the topic. It is a good resource of the history and spiritualism of an ancient subject matter. When paired with my other resources which are more modern day and hands-on based I have a good beginners grasp of the subject. If you just want to rearrange your furniture this might be too deep a book.

the book is fantastic, very pleasant to read and a bundle of information. It's one of these books that needs to be read over and over to process all the info. I gave 4 stars because I just wish the last few chapters had more information. I think I'm going to get more books from Eva Wong, I love her style of writing and how knowledgeable she is.

First let me say, if you want to learn about Feng Shui, the true, in-depth meaning behind it and how each segment of it works, this is the book for you. If you just want to know where to put your bed in your bedroom…. Not so much.

I had to have my own copy, after returning the libraries.Great history of feng shui, with excelient illustrations. The author has written the best books on taoism that I have read. She learned at her uncle's side, and another master at an early age.The steps to perform a feng shui reading are layed out, clearly.This book will teach flying star feng shui, with complete information to create charts oneself. Several pages on landforms, moutain dragons, and waterways.I turn to this to refresh my memory, while struggleing through poorly written material by other authors.

Even though this is Wong's introductory to Feng-Shui, it is quite detailed. Best for those who wish to know more and are serious about Feng-Shui for healing and prosperity. It isn't just a casual decorator's book.

The philosophies and applications found in this book deal with rearranging the energy flow inside your home to prevent stagnation of energies. Follow to the word and you are guaranteed to change your life. Happy experimentation!

Good book but not too different from second one. Would be interesting to have an explanation as to why she feels interaction between base and facing star is more important than interaction between mountain and facing star as other books suggest. Would also appreciate a complete list of all combinations of base/facing/mountain stars meaning.

Great book - one I used to have but it was lost in a move. Also good price. Evan Wong is very knowledgeable and I would recommend all of her books if you are interesting in Feng Shui which is in fact a very deep subject. Good Service. Thank you.

If the book is not very large, the advises and explanations are clear, simple and easy to put in practice. It gives good basics informations about Feng Shui and how to organise it in your home. I do recommand it.

Very technical and all about the history and how and why it works - still have to get into it though.
