Funster Crossword Puzzle Book for Adults: 101 Large-Print Easy Puzzles

The puzzles are challenging but not too difficult. The print is easy to read.

We keep a crossword puzzle book on one of the tables in the company lunchroom. This is the book most people participate in, it's easy with lots of immediate gratification for even the people who don't usually do cw puzzles. Nice large blocks to write in. I liked it so much I bought one to keep at home.

This old dad is trying to get his eldest twin started on crossword puzzles; I chose this gift for her rather than, my love of almost 50 years-The LA Times Daily Crossword. The puzzles are easy enough. Some of the clues are better suited for older ages or trivia buffs, but most are solvable. The large print is also nice and the pages are durable for erasing if necessary. All that leads me to my only but biggest issue with the book. Some of the clues and answers are too vague. Some lead to two word answers. Some lead to phonetic spellings instead of words. Some lead to slang. Some lead to long bygone sayings. Several are foreign language words. And some are just downright bad. The worst part is the really bad clues are typically lumped together. Despite some occasional bad clues, the book is enjoyable and entertaining overall. And it’s much better than many of the other “easy” crossword options out there.

I love doing crossword puzzles. Keeps your mind sharp. The large print is just what I need. It won't disappoint. I love anything by this author.

I loved this puzzle book. The print was a perfect size, not too big and not too small. The puzzles challenged me enough to make it stimulating and satisfying, but did not frustrate me. The experience was perfect.

My mom is 95 and in assisted living. She loves crossword puzzle and word search books. I purchase them frequently. Large print. Easy to use.

Not only are these puzzles quite trivial, there are errors! For instance in puzzle 9 the clue is: "Jefferson's bill". TWO, right? Nope , the expected answer is TEN! Such mistakes are unconscionable.
