These lights are hung around the frame in dining area in 5th wheel. They are on timer to come on at 5ish. This is all the light necessary at night. They are nice and bright, works great to date.

There’s a noticeable difference from the first section connected to the outlet to the next section. Guess I won’t go 3 sections!!

Purchased this to replace older style lights I had taped to metal heart frames I built, that stopped working. (see pics) So far very happy with how these look. (not greatest quality pic-look brighter in person) Hope they last.

So I am in the process of re-doing my outdoor patio. I had some incandescent rope lights before, but they were several small pieces tied together and only covered part of the patio. I made sure to measure ahead of time, and 150 feet is exactly what I needed. I was able to cover the entire patio, and the lighting is perfect. It is a very tedious install. I needed clips approximately every 19.5"'s. I marked the first and last runners, then ran string across all of them so I could get my clips lined up. Once that was done, I had to then install close to 125 clips. I do wish that the screws were a little bit bigger, but the clips worked out great and do a good job of holding the lights tight so they do not droop. Took about 4-5 hours over 2 days, but I ran out of clips and had to wait for more to come in. 50 is not enough to run these lights, so I had to order the additional 100 clips, which is what a spool of this quantity should come with. I did break a few and lost a few screws in the process, but still ended up with plenty of spares. I will eventually have this wired in by an electrician that way I can control these via a light switch. Also very handy that you can cut these lights every 3 ft, and it came with 4 extra power cords and various other parts to make several strings out of this one spool.

Stopped working after 4 months, only 4 inches light up now and it's too later to return Disappointed as this was not inexpensive.

These appear much lighter in color and have a blue tint to them. I was looking for a deep, dark purple like what is pictured. One star for sturdiness and adhesion, because I am returning them so I can't comment on those. Almost too bright which makes the color even more pale. Seems to be of good quality.

I bought this coil of led rope lights with the hope of decorating my palm trees for Christmas. The fact that the package came with accessories to cut and split the line, and some brackets, it made this a very attractive buy.The overall experience with this product has been frustrating. I have been careful with the lights while installing. Some times I can get them to light. But, the overall success in operation is finnicky to say the least. The connections seem poor as soon as any cuts are done. I tested the line as soon as I received. And the entire line lit up. I ran the line around one of my tress from the end cap down, cutting and attaching one of the additional power sources to new line. I can get it to light, but only if the power source end is bent a certain way. Any more wraps, and the whole line will be out. For example, in the photo I have posted, if the line on the bottom wraps any more to the back, the line will completely go out. Very finnicky.In addition, the remaining rope has sections that will just not light. It seems every outage is right at a labelled cut point to the next. So, I have 1 meter sections that just stay out. I'm not sure if there is an issue with the connections at these points, but I do measure voltage, sometimes low, even at the unlit areas of rope.When this line does work, it gets lit. Like Clark Griswold levels of lighting that you can see from space.I'm just frustrated that I will most likely trash $170 worth of material, as I am not sure how I can prove defects since I've cut the line and most likely can not return this product. There were no instructions included with this product. However, connections for these lines are standard and can be found from multiple sources online.

Sturdy construction! However, beware of which end you supply power to. The diodes in the circuit make powering it up possible from one end only. If you install it and it fails to illuminate, you may be plugging the wrong end in. I had to take my installation down and reverse ends because of this. Otherwise, this is a great product.
