Worked for me using INPA on BMW E39....
Cable worked perfectly. Installed on a Win10 laptop and downloaded Mike's BMW Tools off the net. Worth buying if you're trying to use INPA. Connected to my E39 perfectly! 15 minute install and I was reading codes. NOTE for software install: Pay attention to the driver set Mike's BMW Tools installs as it is an old set from 2015. These drivers would not work on my Win10 laptop. Make note of the driver description during the driver install that occurs at the end of the software installation (you'll get a failed to install message). You'll find the updated drivers online. Install those and then you can follow the instructions Mike gives you to switch to COM1 and test your cable.

Works on 2005 318i BMW
It successfully allowed me to connect to all modules in my 318i 2005 BMW, including DME, EGS, ABS, PDC, among others. I used my Lenovo X1 Carbon with Windows 11 Pro. The cable's materials are high grade, high quality, and seem durable. You'll need proper advice to be able to connect it well, but it is possible to do it. A word of advice: move the switch to the opposite side if you are having connectivity problems.

Won't work for me. Software doesn't load.
I can't get the software to load . Or do anything when I put it in my dvd slot. Without that , this thing is useless. Also, the dvd that came was all smudged and scratched. Others seem to have problems loading the software as well. I guess there are other places on 5the internet to down load this stuff but my level of computer literacy prevents that. I expected this to work.

Funciono perfectamente

IYKYK...otherwise...
...you probably want to either invest the time to read and understand how this works with the ISTA/INPA and associated software or take your car to someone who does know how it all works, otherwise you are in for a whole lot of frustration. There are multiple sources to get clean copies of the software packages and I recommend going that route unless you have a low bandwidth Internet connection - these are large packages. Once I had the software downloaded and installed on the laptop that I use for auto maintenance I was able to run ISTA+, ISTA /P, and INPA with no problems beyond the steep learning curve for each of the packages. The K-DCAN interface cable worked flawlessly. The only minor niggle that I have is that the OBD connector is a bit loose on the car interface socket because of the additional weight carried in the connector. As long as your mindful of that it works a treat and will take you miles beyond standalone scan tools - at least the ones that don't cost 4 figures.

Should provide USB stick for the software
Cable works fine but the software is not easy to install on newer laptops with no CD drive

Worth the wait !!
update. I had a rough start with my experience dealing with AntiBreak.I ordered this cable to work on my sisters car and time was important so here comes the irony they sent a replacement time piece for a grandfather clock. I was upset and made a return thinking that would be the end of it to my surprise CoCo contacted me and offered a replacement cable free of charge for the inconvenience but had noticed the mini cooper i was needing it for required an ENET cable for INPA to work and sent that as well. I was amazed at the follow through and concern CoCo projected in my hunt for a cable to unlock better options for fixing the car. to be honest the cables were perfect especially the ENet cable down to the terminating resistor and added fix for voltage timeouts but the software patches for the DcAN cable were a little challenging for an old domestic mechanic like me learning both elevated computer and euro auto logic at the same time opps some German too. i was able to reset the adaptions on the 6 speed and it took a bit got my sisters car in a learn mode completing the shift adaption and it finally threw a code a can fix now. Minis are expensive to fix and now have a repair path i would not have been able to find with out CoCo and the staff at AntiBreak. FarFagnugan Yall

Works!
I purchased this to connect my laptop to the OBD port in my e46 bmw. Iโve used it multiple times to read codes with INPA without issue.

Seems like a good solid cable
I used this cable on a 2010 mini cooper S and it worked fine. It was my first time using ISTA so I had to do a bit of tweaking and afterwards the laptop read the ECU just fine. I have not done any programming with it, but I assume it should work fine.

Does not work on 2011 BMW E90
Did not work on 2011 BMW 323i. The software is installed but I could not get the cable ( drivers) to be installed, thus the computers ( laptop and Car ) could not recognize the cable. I tried hard but I had to give up and return it while I can.
