Hellsing Volume 5

Great seller, taking care of all their books. I have been satisfied everh time thag I bought from them. Highly recommend

The price is a little high for your avergae manga (lord only knows why?) but Hellsing is worth every penny. It may be old, but its ardly showing its age. The art is crisp and amazingly gory (to the point of being beautiful 0_0), and the story is fast paced and full of action--and the manga-ka has a very interesting sense of humour.Hellsing centers around the Holy Order of Protestant Knights, led by the latest member of the bloodline of Abraham Van Helsing. Their mission is to protect Queen and Country from the undead and other supernatural forces of evil. The organization is run by Sir Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who inherited her responsibility as its director after the death of her father in her early teenage years. She is served by her faithful family butler and former Hellsing "trashman," Walter C. Dornez, and Alucard, a powerful vampire that was captured by the family a hundred years ago and serves as the organization's current "trashman." They are later joined by former police officer Seras Victoria, who becomes a Hellsing soldier when she is turned into a vampire by Alucard.This is one of my favorite mangas, doesn't get much better than this.

With the aircraft carrier HMS Eagle captured by a force from Millennium lead by the vampire sniper Rip van Winkle and the British Navy counterattack proving fruitless the only thing that can be done is to send in Alucard. This volume also sees the beginning of Millennium's assault on Britain.This is another very good volume with some nicely gory artwork and some very nice scenes (Alucard's entrance in particular is brilliant). The plot is looking good and the action is brilliant as well. Hellsing is defiantly one of the better manga series that I have read.

I can't really find the words to describe the Hellsing mangas. All of volumes are really great. The themes involved are really interesting, and the way the author mixed history with modern society is great. Highly recommended graphic novel if you're looking for action, humor, some drama, very real life themes, great drawings, and vampires of course.

Hellsing Manga is amazing and fun to read... I had a great time reading this series and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Manga and anime. PS: I watched the anime before reading the Manga and it was amazing :D
