The Joy of Denial

When I saw a new book by Ms. Rika I knew instantly I had to get it and read it because in her two previous books Uniquely Rika and Uniquely Us she had presented some thoughts and ideas about female Domination that many if not most others overlooked or were unaware of that anyone into female domination really ought to consider and at the very least know about. The five stories in the Joy of Denial are all great stories, but at the end one sentence came to mind from one of the stories. I had to look back through and found it surprisingly fast thanks to the one word in bold print in the story Stable where Stephanie makes Michael part of her slave staff. It is just one of many great lessons provided to the reader throughout the book. Those lessons seem to be provided mainly for any prospective dominant women readers who would benefit from the knowledge. In the process those submissive males will coincidentally have more to seriously consider should they want to hand over power to the woman in their lives that they want to take control of them in a female domination relationship. It will certainly cause them second thoughts until they realize that Ms. Rika is ultimately right.My favorite story was The Feather and not because of the feather, but because of the room Akiko has Alan build for her in the process of doubling the size of her house. I like suspension and the author's imagination has come up with the ultimate mechanism for doing so. I'm not sure that all the capabilities she describes would be possible as it seems most likely that some of the wires would get crossed, but wouldn't I love to have such a room.While the writing and editing is all exceptionally well done, the overall feeling I am left with is that Ms. Rika would be a totally awesome Mistress to be under her control, but as much as I think I would love it, I don't think I (or anyone) could live up to her satisfaction, standards, or expectations. But then again, maybe that is what Female Domination at the highest levels is all about: pleasing and satisfying and making the Mistress happy without any consideration for one's own submissive desires and needs. A goal to be striven for endlessly.
