Unique Loom Penrose Collection Area Rug - Alexis (3' 3" Round, Blue/ Gray)

It seems sturdy and well made. The colors are rich and beautiful. The price was wonderful for its unusually large size. You can buy this with confidence.Rug prices rise and fall without any connection to reality, in my opinion. I've bought a rug on sale for $60 and seen the same rug go for $700 a month later. Same rug.Others in the same quality do the same. I'm not sure what drives the rug market, but consumers should beware. This rug is as good a quality as any other synthetic rug. But it's still a synthetic rug, and I won't pay wool prices for synthetic. I got this one on sale, I think because it's the end of a run, but I'm not sure. And it's every bit as nice as one my daughter bought for more than twice as much. It's the same quality as several I've bought for less and for more. So buy this if the price is right for you.

I bought the 10x14'. I knew it was going to arrive folded and rolled, so I was a bit concerned about that. But it unrolled and unfolded just fine. I put some heavy things on the rolled end, and it is flattening nicely. I think after a few more days, it will be fully flat. Orange is a very dominant color. I didn't realize it was going to be so bright, but it is the first color I see. Gray and teal are mixed into the cream background, so things like fuzz and dog hair won't be so visible. One thing about this pattern ... I feel like your furniture should ideally be situated around that middle medallion design. However, in my room, the furniture ended up being on top of it. Not much I can do about it, but I'm aware of that when I look at it. I put a 9x12' non-skid rug pad under it, and it makes the rug feel really nice. Also, I haven't noticed any sort of chemical smell coming off of it, like you do with rugs sometimes.

Stunning!! I wasn’t prepared for the quality of this item, especially when it showed up smooshed into a 4x2 roll. I actually was able to drag it in the house no issue. Relaxed immediately once flattened, minus a few small rumples. And zero stinky new rug smell! I love the colors even more in person and plan on buying a second for our basement. Definitely worth the money!!Update: Almost a year later and I still love this rug. Doesn't stain, we spill on it all the time. and stays in place remarkably well. Has help up to a large dog, two cats, and an aggressive Roomba.

Other people said it wasn't lavender, and that it was more neutral. one review said there was no purple at all so I bought it based upon that review. Well it is definitely bright colored, bright reds stand out, more like lilac purple medallion in the center, colors are vibrant and rich. I was looking for something more subdued. and I didn't want purple so i took a chance based upon reviews. I don't know which rug they got but mine is purple.returning it because it is too vibrant.

This rug is a rare case of some thing actually looking like the picture. I had the 5 x 8 version for a couple of years and it was so beautiful, but my cat clawed a hole through it and everywhere is out of stock on that size. So I went ahead and got the 8 x 8. It’s true to color, it’s great quality, it’s absolutely stunning. The only thing I would say is that the 8 x 8 size has a little bit more of the cream at the center of the design. It doesn’t make the rug any less beautiful. I would really recommend it

The color was more muted and subtle in the picture online, than in person and I preferred the more subtle colors. Really good quality, just to vibrant for where I wanted to use it.

It took a long time to settle down. Eventually I used the carpet shampoo on it, taped the corners and finally settled.
