By reading this book you will also learn the differences between a biblical and cultural Christian. This book is filled with spiritual advice and many reality checks.I felt Patrick Morley is a true man of God who imparts deep wisdom that is so rare these days. His wife, Patsy, also says some funny and profound things to him, which he shares in this book.Some of the practical things in this book include how to treat women, how to manage money and why men should look beyond materialism for life satisfaction. Patrick Morley also is pretty funny. I laughed out loud several times. Overall, this is a calming message of hope for men in a troubled world. It is the ultimate classic book of wisdom for men. I'm buying many copies of this book and sending it to every man I personally know. I wish I'd known about this book sooner so I could give it as gifts. Every man should read this! My friends are requiring men read this before marrying their daughters

As a therapist I purchased this book to help a client work through it. It is excellent if you are man trying to improve and apply your faith to your family. If you're not a Christian this is not going to help you at all.

I liked the realistic approach to how men are and the ideas for improving our relationships and spiritual lives. I wanted more insight to into the intimate marital aspects; only one sentence dealt with sex. Like others, the topic is pushed aside as though it was not relevant.

This book reminds men that God created them to not be perfect, but to be better. While nothing was rocket science, it was a good read in reminding me of many things my soul already knew, but needed to be reminded of. I am very religious, but found a few of the religious references by the author to be a hint overboard or not centered, don't let that stop you from reading this book. Overall, it reminds men of the basics of how to be a better version of yourself and how to be more Godly in all areas of your life. It doesn't beat you up, but gives you a good idea of easy changes or adjustments to better meet God's expectations, and the expectations of the man we each want to be.

I use this book in a men's weekly Christian fellowship meeting. This book is awesome for men in all walks of life!
