Great cooling device for medication!!!
I ordered this to use while travelling. I am very pleased with its effectiveness.I recently used this to keep my Forteo medication cold while flying and an overnight hotel stay before boarding a cruise. The Forteo needs to be kept between 34°-47° F. When using the blue "freezer" Biogel container, it kept the interior of the container within range for more than 36 hrs. When I used the white container and filled it with chipped ice and water it kept it in range for about 12 hrs. Once the chipped ice melted the temperature increased fairly rapidly. I tested it with just very cold ice water with no ice chips and it kept it within range only for about 6 hrs. After 6 hrs it started to increase the temperature above 47°F. If your medication can go above that temperature it still maintained below 65° for a few more hours.I will be taking a 6 day bus tour in the fall and will not be able to freeze the biogel pack every night. This let me know I will need to make sure I have ice chips in the water container during the daytime on the bus to keep the temperature below 47°.I had no problems going through security at the airport with either the Biogel container or the one with ice and water.I look forward to being able to travel without concerns with my medication.

Best portable insulin container & not too expensive
**Fantastic** to carry my insulin pens in with a different reusable ice pack. The one that came with the bottle was too cold and the pen would be up against the frozen insert. I got the 8 pack of Kikkerland Colorful Reusable Plastic Ice Cubes to keep the insulin at the recommended temperate. The top of the thermas has a shelf life of 2 years. I bought it in '22 & it's April of '24 the temperature stopped displaying. I contacted the company about it & learned about the top's shelf life. Definitely worth the investment as it's so useful to carry insulin on errands, out to eat, traveling (via airplane or in general), or during the commute to work. Slim body design is compact and fits inside my 9L mini backpack perfectly, not protruding at all. Never had any issues with leakage from the bottle when reusable ice cubes or the blue one that comes with it defrosted. It's durable enough that it survives accidental drops, but I wouldn't go around slamming it onto floors.

Insulin
Necessity in the Arizona Summer. Keeps insulin cool , protected and has a longer cool time then other ways of keeping your insulin cool . I do like that there is a temperature read on the top of the canister. One nice thing about this cooler is that there is a QR code on the canister that can be linked to you incase you lose your cooler .

TSA approved insulin cooler
Adorable color, constant temperature monitoring, just a great product. It fits in my bag as easily as a water bottle. Even has QR code tag just in case you lose it!

DOA!!
If I could give it zero stars, that is what I would give for a cooler dead on arrival. No amount of pushing on the top got it to work. Set up a return and will be going back to the older more reliable method I have been using. Looks nice but doesn't work.

Works Perfectly
This device works great. I tested it before using it on a trip. It was at 32F for 24 hours and still at 38 after 48 hours. This is exactly what we need to take refrigerated meds on trips.

Works with some help
Make sure and check the size of your pen and how many you need to keep cold. Very tight even for two depending on the size of your injection pens. The other issue was the pens rest right against the frozen gel canister and in a test I did the temp went below the low end critical level even though I made sure the temp probe was not touching the frozen gel pack. I cut a slip of cardboard box and put in between and retested and it stayed in the range and lasted over the 24 hrs I needed it for. Overall with the cardboard insert it worked for me pretty well.
