This is the replacement black piece that runs the full length on top of the bumper of my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500.We have been working on rebuilding our wrecked truck and this is one of the last things we needed to replace.The black plastic will come premolded and ready to fasten to the bumper.On our bumper this top piece stuck out about 1/2 and inch or so. It would not fasten up properly so we ended up using a bolt/washer mount, as seen in my photo.Other than that it is a perfect fit and high quality replacement part for the upper portion of the bumper. I ordered this as well as the lower grey plastic piece and my bumper now looks like new!Excellent price point compared to my local auto part stores.I purchased this item full price.I rely on product reviews just like others to help make my purchase decisions so I try each product very carefully before reviewing and always do my best to leave honest opinions and provide as much facts as possible based solely on my experience.

Ease of installation, good fit, quality product, competitive priced

Do not buy from this seller! The bumper cover did not fit as it was too short and clips would not fit properly. Contacted Autos Depo and they told me I installed it incorrectly and that it did fit. Went round and round, sent photos, they still insisted that it fit when the photos showed otherwise. On the back of the cover, stamped into the plastic "fits Dodge p/u 94-98 and my truck is a 2001! There is a difference!Finally got permission to return to the seller but due to the size of the box only Fed Ex will ship. Cost to return would be over $300! Needless to say I'm stuck with the thing. Appealed to the A-Z Guarantee process and they were no help whatsover.Ordered another bumper cover from another seller and it fit perfectly.Again, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

Hit a couch in the middle of the freeway that had fallen off someone's vehicle and lost my original front bumper cover upper in the deal. Bought this to fix my truck. The product arrived in a timely fashion in a very large box. Had minor difficulty installing it. I started installation from the passenger side and worked toward the driver side. It was a bit of a stretch to get the last couple of clips into place. Perhaps I should have started in the middle and worked out. Don't know if that would have helped or not. Now that it is installed it fits and looks great.

Poor fit as compared to stock part.

This looks great. These trucks are now getting pretty old. The old part was grey and weathered.I would suggest buying the lower bumper cover first and replacing it first THEN replace this upper piece. I did this one first and it was a bit of a pain to get it to sit on there properly. It isn't particularly difficult to install. There are lots of plastic clips holding it to the metal part of the bumper. There is a fastener holding each end to the lower plastic part of the bumper cover as well.The price is good. (with free shipping it is really good)Update 5/5/2017: I took this off to install new headlights and broke several of the clips. This could have been avoided by squeezing the tabs before trying to remove it. Just like the stock part, this aftermarket one separates on the corners of the bumper. It might just be the design of the bumper and this piece that causes that. (lots of Dodge Rams have this issue) Eventually, the corners curve up a little and get a little closer to the headlight. It still looks good, it was still a good price and free shipping on such a large item was a really good deal when I bought mine.

Came in a long box ,no damage, took less than 10 minutes to put it on. Slightly off where the upper and lower covers come together. Could be my lower cover out of whack. Other than that it looks great.
