Finding Fatima

Since my child years I have heard of Fatima, the miracle of the Apparition of Virgin Mary to three small Sheppard children in a small town of Portugal during World War I back in 1917. Raised as a catholic I was bound to hear of this miracle, however, as a grown up I basically discarded anything so miraculous as a "beautiful young lady appearing out of nowhere bringing a message to some small children and surrounded by a brilliance similar to that of the sun". My second encounter with the story was at UCLA (University of California) some day as I was doing some research at its big library regarding some completely unrelated subject. There it was!.. this article in an old newspaper of that era talking about one of the most mind bending miracles of modern times witnessed by thousands of people the afternoon of May 13, 1917 at Cova De Iria, a small village in Portugal.You must read this precious book and judge for yourself. It is well paced and written without prejudice relating what 70,000 people witnessed on that fateful 13th day of May, 1917, and how it has impacted the faithful and non alike. Find out Virgin Mary's message to these three innocent kids and what it meant to the world then and now. I highly recommend it.

This professionally done Catholic, created, docu-drama, film with excellent reconstructions of actual events starts with a very powerful opening for the greatest miracle of the 20th Century. The movie does an excellent job of telling this wonderful story and should be viewed by all. This is the story of the six apparitions and appearances that occurred in Fatima, Portugal between 13 May and 13 October 1917.View this film prior to Fatima visitation. Although I did not, it provided better understanding of my 13 May, 2012 visit and what I had studied prior to it. Coupled with the book, "Fatima in Lucia's own words," one should obtain the message of these events to humanity.........................Hope.

The Fatima story is not as well known as it should be. This DVD goes a long way, in a modern day context, in explaining the story of the 3 children who were graced with the the presence of Our Lady...Notre Dame! More importantly, is the message Our Lady left for all of us through those 3 innocent children. The prophecies,the 'Miracle of the Sun' and the message left with those children resonates as strongly today as it did in that small village in the hills of Portugal in 1917. This DVD is a must for anyone concerned about World Peace and their own eternal future.

This is not a production that will excite Hollywood critics but it highlights the essence of the messages and explains why the secrets of Our Lady of Fatima should remain relevant. It also presents evidence to support the supernatural origin claims linked to the apparitions that took place in Portugal, 1917.

Jesus is alive and well in Fatima. I do believe Jesus honors His children and His Mother. Jesus can't be against Mary, or He would have committed the sin of not honoring your Mother and your Father. I believe and recommend all to open their hearts and minds to watching this video as a chance to step into the spirit world of Jesus.

one of the biggest aspects of fatima is that of russia....when making a movie on this subject, if you miss russia, butput in hiroshima, i suspect a bit of an agenda by the producers of this dvd....why miss this subject on russia...does not make sense in my opinion..is this some form of "artistic license"?thanks for making this movie...the message of fatima needs to get out...the the blue army of fatima pledge (look up blue army pledge if interested) helped take down communisium in russia...how can you miss that?read "meet the witnesses" by john haffert for a very accurate account

A very thoughtful and detailed documentary on the events of Fatima, the lives of the visionaries, the secrets and the continued devotion to the Our Lady.This documentary goes nicely with the older family movie "The miracle of Fatima" by Warner Brothers.

Wonderful footage.Very well presented.Could have done more to present the "hard sayings" of Fatima.Ignored the controversy over the secrets and the consecration of Russia.I'm going to be showing this movie at my local church. I will supplement the DVD with a printout of the various prayers that came forth from Fatima and talk about the contested issues.

This was a gift and appreciated.
