Christmas Lighted Window Decoration, Snowflake (94999D)

I actually really love the snow flake, I did not find the cord short as everyone kept stating is as long as most of these window light decor. Only a 4 because of the missing suction cup

Overall, this product was pretty nice and of good quality. The lights were nice and bright, there were plenty on there, and it created a clear snowflake effect.However, as other reviewers have stated, the cords are so unbelievably short I can't imagine any scenario where you wouldn't need to use extension cords. I bought two of these and hung them in very standard windows. Not only did I have to use a separate extension cord for each (even though the windows are only about 1.5' away from each other), the cord is so short that the big lump where the plug met up with the extension cord end was handing right in the middle of the bottom half of the window. From the outside at night, none of this was visible, but from inside, it created a huge mess of cords and plugs there's no way I could've hid better. Also, the suction cup works, but it's tiny so the snowflake doesn't hang flat against the window, the top is smooshed right up against it and the bottom angles away a bit.If these had been closer to $15-$20 each, I could've overlooked these details. But at almost $40 a piece, they should consider these details better.

It took longer than a normal 2-3 day period for delivery, but the two decorations arrived I damaged and look beautiful on my window. It did not receive 5 stars because one of the two plastic snowflakes was wired so that you could use one hanger and the cord would hang straight down from the lowest point; however, the second one was wired so if you used the pre-drilled hole to hang the ornament, one would have to have the wire come from the left side point. Since this made the display ugly during the day when it could readily be seen, I chose to hang it using two hangers from the center of the snowflake so that the connecting power cord would also hang straight down. Luckily, I was prepared and had ordered clear hangers so that I could use 3 that all matched and let the ornament hang straight. Poor QA on the back end of production not to have caught this problem before it was boxed. If you purchase this product, be prepared to have extra clear suction cup hangers on hand.

Very pretty design, nice size for any window. The only negative is that the cord is extremely short; need extension cords to reach anywhere, which means draping and hiding them so they are not unsightly. The extension cords pull/weigh down the snowflakes too. I bought two of these and need two extensions since they don’t link together and the individual cords won’t reach each other or anything else. Seems to be a thoughtless feature to save cost on manufacturing Instead of caring about how the customer will need to use the item. Quite unfortunate and sadly typical...otherwise a very nice product.

I love these so so much. Basic window decoration. Eveeyone that came over gave us compliments.

I bought this snowflake a month ago and we are now putting it in the window. Gee, I wish I would have read the reviews! The short cord is pathetic!

We bought this as a replacement for old snow flake. We have NOT used on windows for any length of time (purchased in Sept). So, simlpy checked for lighting .

These are big! Measure your windows -- mine were almost too small. I ordered six of them, and the boxes were all open and damaged but the snowflakes inside were intact and working, and each came with a suction cup and extra bulbs. Other reviewers have noted the cord is very short and could never reach any outlet from a window. This was the case on 5 of the 6 I got. The 6th was in slightly different packaging (missing the cardboard backing) and the suction cup had weird oil on it. The cord on that one was about six feet long! So I didn't need an extension cord for that one. Not sure what the deal was there...The photo does not do them justice. It's hard to take photos at night on my phone.
