Work on enough engine bays, and you'll undoubtedly need a set of these. Everything is obstructed! This set of wrenches is fabulous. German steel at a fraction of the cost of Snap-On. The finish is matte and the hand grinding/shaping marks are visible but none of that affects function. In fact, I prefer the matte finish since it is easier to clean than polished chrome. Fasteners fit tightly, the length of each wrench is generous and the weight/hand feel is excellent. IMHO, this is a much better long-term option than sets made in the far east. Pay a little more, get a little more. You will have them for life.

Ok - to these are in my opinion the best tools you can buy - PERIOD. Better than Snap On, Gedore, or any other brand you care to name. I have swung them all and I always come back to Stahlwille. The are light weight and impressively strong. I am a diesel mechanic and abuse tools as good as the best of them. These really hold up.With that said - Amazon are doing a good job of distancing themselves from inaccurate website descriptions (or none at all) to allow these tools to sell. Problem is you only get a $10 credit to ship them back to england. And it is going to cost you $35 or so to ship them back if you are adequately disappointed in the misleading image given.The price on Amazon is good - about as good as you will pay retail for some of the sets (but buyer beware) problem is that they do not do a good job of indicating just what you get.This set includes 6mm to 19mm only. No holder - just a basic box. But they are beautiful tools - as long as you don't need anything more than 19mm!!

These are my first set of anything from Stahlwille. I own many premium tool brands, from American made Wright, Williams and vintage Bonney, to overseas brands like PB Swiss and Vessel.I was looking for a good double box end set in metric, and these were rumored to be the best around. High quality, most complete set. I would have to agree. I'm not a professional wrench, but I do own several other recently produced wrenches to compare how this brand stacks up. I'm not at all disappointed with the quality of this set. The fit and finish are fantastic, but these are wrenches, they will probably see some dings over their remaining life. I actually prefer the matte finish of these wrenches over full chrome polish. Although if you are a fan of the Wright satin finish, these are a smoother matte finish than the texturing Wright uses on the handles. My SAE set of offset box wrenches is Bonney (full chrome polish), pretty much the gold standard I'm told. These Stahlwille feel every bit as good and I'm glad to have a metric set of the same quality. And they are actually lighter in hand due to the I-beam construction than the Bonney are.There's no doubt in my mind that these wrenches will go the distance, I'm still a young enough guy that these will see decades of service before I hang it up as a DIY-er. My son will be able to appreciate these.

I have used these on several small jobs around the house and on my vehicles. Very happy with the quality.

Best deep offset box wrenches out there, don't even look at other brands. I buy American when I can, so I had tried a set of shallow offset Proto wrenches before I picked up these. Quality was not even close. This Stahlwille set is way more dimensionally accurate, almost no slop on a bolt, and that's consistent across all sizes. Finish is superior in my opinion as well, the matte finish is less prone to scratches and chipping, and offers better grip. The Stahlwille wrenches are also a superior design, the I-beam construction allows them to shave off weight while maintaining strength in the direction force is applied. The weight may be my favorite part, they feel almost like aluminum, but even when used on massive lower strut bolts there was no signs of them folding, and at 6'4" 260lbs I assure you I apply some serious torque. Buy with confidence, Stahlwille makes amazing tools!

Ok, I have to say this was a splurge buy to treat myself to a truly high quality made tool. However I truly never thought I’d really use them. Brother was I wrong!Over the last 3 months of working on my 89 Corvette I have needed to use these specific wrenches to get at bolts & nuts I couldn’t get at with anything else! The quality is incredible & the feel is so good you’ll find your self having a hard time putting them down. I whole heartedly recommend this tool, the only thing better is to buy the 8 piece set!

was influence by listening tool haul video from asm auto on youtube this guy had purchase a set of these . i did the same and was impressed. very nice quality made in germany, solid and very comfortable in the hands. the size is just right compared to my 60deg snap on. no regrets buying this you can tossed them around as the finish is made for work and not exposition in the tool box. i won;t restrain myself if i have to use a hammer on it to slack a stubburn nut instead of using the torches. yes these are great tools wish amazon could get the whole catalog and with much better --LOWER- prices than adverstise. this will be my only stahlwille tools as the others are too expensive on this site.

J'ai déjà dû forcer sur toutes les tailles et ça tient très bien. Le profil douze pans est bon, ça ne glisse pas et ça n'abîme pas la boulonnerie. C'est très largement au-dessus des clés Facom en terme de qualité (je n'ai jamais cassé de clé Facom en utilisation normale mais l'alliage utilisé depuis quelques années est nettement plus élastique et permet de transmettre moins de couple vu que la clé se déforme trop)
