This is close to a professional knife
I was quite amazed with this knife, and I have a degree in Culinary Arts and am very use to using Wusthof and Shun knives. I grabbed this as a cheap all-around knife. It came VERY sharp, and feels like a quality blade. Really, the ONLY difference I notice between this and a Shun Chefs knife is that this does not have a professional edge on it, which helps to prevent food from sticking to the side of the blade, so EVERYTHING likes to hang on to this knife. However, a professional edge is quite costly, a lot more than the cost of this knife, so not even a valid complaint. Honestly, unless you are going up to the $50+ range, this is the best low cost Chefs knife I have used in a long time.

Great cheap knife !!!
So far I'm very happy with this knife . I'm a professional chef and it will stand up to the rigors of a commercial kitchen. So far, si good.

Good value Stainless steel knife.
Very sharp knife. Good price Etched to look like the much more expensive Japanese version. It serves the purpose. I've been asked if it was the expensive one because it really looks like it.

Very sharp and cuts well
I needed a good chef knife to cut tomatoes and other difficult fruits and vegetables. This one does the job and I am very impressed with how sharp it was out of the box
