Moxa Sticks, High Purity 35:1 Five Chen Moxa Rolls Bar for Mild Moxibustion(20 pcs)

These moxa sticks are at least the same quality that my acupuncturist use. They are very powerful and smell great. I would use them against key acupressure points to ward off respiratory Illnesses or other ailments. If used appropriately, this is very powerful.

I can't speak to the quality, this is the first moxa roll purchase I've made. Compared to the smoke emitted from the mini-stick on Japanese moxa cones, it is much higher in amount and smell. I would not recommend using these indoors or even in a garage. Outdoors, the smoke smell sticks to your hair, skin around your hands, etc., and follows you after a wardrobe change. But, the heat is nice and the effects lasting. Expect to smell like smoke long after using one.

It is said in professional traditional Chinese medicine books that only the GOLDEN moxa sticks are aged, with the best quality and efficacy. It turns out that golden moxa does exist! (image 1)After searching and testing many brands on Amazon, the overall quality of this one is so far the best, including efficacy, vintage, purity and perdurability!!! The firepower is great and long-lasting: while others can only last 40 min-1 hour, this brand can reach 1.5 to 2 hours. It is also more effective because of higher purity!The sticks are solid and not easy to fall apart.(image 2 & 3) Even if the wrapped paper is completely burned off accidentally, the moxa still burns sturdily and does not fall down, which is very safe. I usually use it directly on my skin(face, head, chest) with peace of mind.I have been suffered from chronic menstrual cramps for more than a decade. After moxibustion for 3 months, it is getting better and better. Miracles are achieved bit by bit with great persistence!

Good quality

I am a meditator for a few hours daily. After a long sitting, my joints and back are ache. I started Moxa treatment a couple of months ago. I have tried lots of different brand Moxa, and I found out this is the best so far. Firstly, the smell is very pure and pleasant. Secondly, the smoke is light, and the ash is white with shape of stick which can be medicine. Thirdly, the most important part is that the heat is not sharp hot like others. It gives me warmness with no burn, also the warmness flows to the the whole body with no burn feels. For example, when I light up the Moxa and do my back treatment, just a couple of minutes, I can feel the warmness going through my legs, my feet, my tommy too. This Moxa makes me feel so good and relaxing, I fall asleep( a few minutes of good nap) so easily. I definitely recommend this Maxa to anyone and certainly will buy more later.The only thing I missed to find out the production date, otherwise it would be perfect. Nevertheless, this is the highly pure Maxa which I have tried. It's a little pricey, but it is worth.

This is good moxa sticks. Smells not bad.

I guess by putting these in a fancy gold box, it somehow makes them good quality. I did not find them to be good quality. They burn very fast and very hot. Also when putting the stick out, I found that it was smoldering about two inches deep. Someone could put the stick out at the end and the stick will still be hot and smoldering deeper down. I believe it to be a fire danger.

These sticks light easily and develop a good heat cone on the tip. They seem to be rolled a little looser than some sticks which improves the "chimney effect" through the stick, keeping the tip quite hot. The downside of this is that they can be difficult to extinguish and must be buried deeply in sand to put them out, or you can put the burning end in sand and cover the other end with a bottle cap to block the air flow through the stick. All-in-all, a good moxa stick. Will purchase again.

I'm only a beginner to moxa, using if for the four gates; st36; and k1, but this burns relatively cleanly, smells lovely herbal and is probably the best price around, highly recommended!
