Excellent stealth PC speakerphone
I rate this speakerphone highly for three key reasons which are often overlooked by almost all other manufacturers: (i) it has no branding or labels; (ii) it has a removable USB cable; and (iii) the volume control has lots of increments which go nice and low in order to turn boring conference calls into just a background hum. Microphone quality is better with my Logitech or Konftel bluetooth speakerphones, but this one remains switched on all day and does not automatically switch itself to standby, making it always available whenever someone unexpectedly calls. Whoever designed and manufactured this excellent little device kept it simple and got it right.

Decent speakerphone.
This little 8cm speakerphone puck (shown next to a 15" Macbook Pro) proves to be a pretty good speakerphone. The microphone picks up voices around it at the usual 1-2m of a meeting very clearly, without people actually having to face it. The speaker is tuned for voice, so don't expect that good quality with music, but as a speakerphone is loud and clear. Overall both mike and speaker are an upgrade compared to the Macbook Pro integrated ones. The volume keys work fine on MacOS, while there is a mute button which seems to be a hardware implementation (doesn't rely on the software mute function) and that is a nice touch, along with the red light to show you are muted. The star off is because while it works well with reasonably new systems, it had some playback issues with an old Mac Pro running Mavericks. And I guess the sound for non-voice stuff (music etc) could be better at this price point, but it does get voices well.

Easy to use and does everything I want it to
Very easy to install (plug & play). I bought it as an alternative to headphones with microphone when I created a home office. I only use it for conference calls. I use my Bose speaker or buds for music as this wouldn't be up to it. Other meeting attendees tell me the sound quality is perfectly acceptable at their end. Very happy with the device - highly recommended for the specific purpose.

Great piece of tech, for the price.
Bought this for my 78 year old Dad so he could video call. I use a Jabra 510 but he wanted something cheaper to use, so we gave this a go. Solid piece of kit, feels sturdy and smart looking, 1m micro usb cable supplied. We swapped the cable for slightly longer one to allow it to be installed onto a floor standing tower PC. It was quick to install less than a minute. Just plug in, change settings if needed in zoom, Skype etc. Start using.Only one slight negative, is that there is no OFF button, it stays on permanently, so you have to switch sound settings in W10 to use another device or unplug; bar that it's a really good inexpensive conference piece of kit for the price. Would recommend if your after a usb only device but if you want to use on your mobile as well then look at the more expensive Jabra products at nearly 2-3 times the price. They have bluetooth and usb capabilities built in and an On/Off button ;)

Dreadful sound quality
I ordered this to replace a pair of 10 year old logitech speakers. Plug and play was easy enough but sound quality was really awful. There was a terrible resonance even at really low volume. I tested using zoom set up and could not improve the sound using any of the adjustments on Zoom setup. I returned this speakerphone on the same day that I received it and went back to my 10 year old Pc speakers where sound quality is so much better and clearer.

Improve sound output
Easy to install but sound does come up very much so can be a bit difficult, but does basically what i need to you

PC Microphone speaker
Works great, the volume could do with being able to be louder, as sometimes in a slightly noisy environment it can be difficult to hear people, but in a fairly quiet environment it’s fine

Get rid of those headphones but keep connected
I bought this after having a slightly older model for a number of years at work. My wife now uses this for about 4 hours a day due to CV19 and home working.Really easy to use straight out of the box. Picked up by the PC and given as option for microphone/speakers on every App used with, Skype, teams, zoom. Can unplug, use on other PCs and will work anywhere really well.Sound quality is excellent, in fact have to ask her to turn it down quite often when folks on the other end of the line get a bit loud in meetings! Can’t fault this item in any way, really good purchase of a potentially business essential item for home working
