Jenny Jellyfish: A Tale of Wiggly Jellies (No. 23 in Suzanne Tate's Nature Series)

Good Book. A little hard for a child to understand.
My daughter is 4 and extremely infatuated with jellyfish right now. We got her this book to go with a toy jellyfish. It has quickly become her new favorite. However, I think it's mostly just becuase she likes jellyfish. This book really tries to put the facts about jellyfish into a story, but there really isn't much of a story. I think it might be suited for a child who is a bit older. Depsite this, my daughter still wants to read it every night, and she already wants the Shark version written by the same author.

Great for kids
Suzanne Tate's series is fantastic for introducing children to sea life. The stories don't go overboard with technical information about each character, but does introduce those characteristics that make that species unique. All of the books are wonderful and they remain a favorite in our household.

Jellyriffic
Clear information about Jellyfish in a fun story. I like that it is about moon jellys as most children have heard that jellyfish sting. This introduces them to jellyfish that don't sting people. Children find this book interesting and I find they ask other questions about Jellyfish. It has a nice element of people being helpful to sea creatures.

My 3 year old learned a lot
My son is in a jellyfish phase of sorts right now. This book has a cute little story laced with facts about jellyfish. My son actually learned quite a bit about them reading this book.
