I ordered these to prepare for next hurricane season. Fortunately, I haven't had to use them yet, but I did check them out. They seem to be made of a very durable and heavy material and should be easy to use. I imagine I'll be able to empty them out and save them for the next catastrophe that strikes my residence.

These bags aren’t the greatest , they get holes very easy and rip once the hole starts . If the weave was tighter I’m thinking it wouldn’t tear so easy . For the low price they do work as long as you try and keep from snagging on stuff ripping holes …

These sand bags are pretty basic but functional. I like that the package even comes with zip ties so you don't have to hunt around for something to close them up with when the rain is coming down.Because of they way they are made, they can be a bit frustrating to open up sometimes. The open end is somewhat fused together likely due to heat when the bag was cut to length. If you can pull the sides apart, it then tears open easily though. The material is kind of thin, so I wouldn't expect these to last long if they are sitting out in the sun for more than one season. Overall though, these do work and I like having a good quantity of them on hand for emergency purposes.

Now we are completely ready for next hurricane season. We have plenty of sand at our house and this is all we were missing this year and now no more filling trash bags since we have these.

I've used several brands of sand bags (mostly the tan ones) and these bags are just fine for creating water blocking walls or cover. They're stitched on one end like a feed bag and straight cut on the other. The zip ties are a nice touch vs old style ties. I have no doubt they'll perform the job, but being single layer tarp material, be aware they're not meant to be moved around often.

I have used them to move dirt around my property and to haul excess dirt to the dump when it needs to be disposed of, and so far they have performed admirably. I mostly keep them out of inclement weather if I can, but the 2 bags I left for a few months in the fall and winter have lasted a long time and are still going strong.
