Solid belt for the price!
This is a solid belt for those looking for a soft belt for mild support. My GF uses this belt for squatting and it is perfect for her and she likes it a lot. Obviously, it's not going to give the support of a 10mm $100+ Inzer belt, but that is not the intended purpose of this. For anyone in need of mild support, this is great value for the price! I have considered picking one up for myself for workouts like the military press to provide some support while not having to deal with the 10mm belt.

Excellent find for a Gym Rat
I had ordered this lifting belt for my 16 year old son, who had started to really work out at the High School gym routinely. He liked how this belt fit and felt on. It has some good padding along the low back and the velcro allows you to make it fit nicely. This was a good find and has helped him get some solid gym work, with out him injuring himself. Fot the cost, this is a great lifting belt that does exactly what you expect it to do and allows you to get the gym work done.

Well constructed, solid support
This weightlifting belt is stiff, well constructed and easy to adjust to a proper tightness. I only use a belt during squats, and avoid deadlifts in general, but this belt works great for helping to keep proper form.I ordered a size medium and it is just the right size. I have a 34" waist, so use their sizing guide.

guys are fighting for it
The family guys all tried on this belt and wanted it for themselves, which attests to its comfort and support. I appreciate the larger size, which the guy for whom it is intended needs. It is being used for general lifting support while working rather than heavy power lifting. Appreciate its comfort, adjustability, and moderate support.

An Affordable & High Quality Weightlifting Belt!
I recently began training with sandbags and felt I needed a little bit more support during my workouts. This was my first time using a self-locking belt, but it turned out being exactly what I was looking for. It is very well-made and gives me the support I need for my sets. The belt is 4" thick and the self-locking mechanism works great! I always felt I could never get the right fit with a pronged belts so this was a breath of fresh air.At the time of this review, the belt is priced at $35, which I feel is an affordable price to pay in exchange for support and safer lifting.

Great quality weightlifting belt.
This is a great quality weightlifting belt. It's well-made, from high quality materials, and I have no doubt that it was made to last. This type of material is more comfortable to me than the heavier leather type. I'm very happy with the quality, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well-made, durable weightlifting belt for workouts.

Easy on and off, sturdy, new velcro, sizing ok, good stitching, excessively long strap
Item:Dark Iron Fitness Self-Locking Weight Lifting Belt for Powerlifting, Gym, CrossFit - Premium Nylon with Adjustable Metal Buckle (Medium)Pros:-Easy on and easy off. This is the biggest pro. The belt easily slips on when tightening and when taking off slips off easily. Its the material the belt is made out of that makes it do this. I think all belts need to copy this.-Sturdy. I haven't had a problem with it.-Velcro is the new style velcro. Lots of benefits to the velcro: Doesn't take up much space, isn't prickly, random stuff from the ground doesn't get stuck on it not near as often.-Sizing is good. I'm a 200LB guy and by the time I got the belt tightened, I probably have maybe a thumb and a half of space left to tighten it further. I think I could *maybe* gone down a size.-Extremely precise stitching. I don't see any stitch where its not suppose to be or any extra thread hanging off.-Branding is kinda coolCons:-The belt strap is excessively long. This is completely unnecessary and I don't like the extra material. -1 star.Other Thoughts:-Could be a con.... but its not so far. If you look in my picture, you can see the hollow piece bends at the end slightly. If it bends anymore it could cut into the belt which is not good.
