The hood is exactly as described. I was surprised by how light the overall packaging was. But when I removed it much stronger then I expected. I have it installed. I purchased 1/2 hp exhaust fan with it. CAN NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESULTS. The instructions talked about an isolator for the mounting bolts. But did not come with it. I was happy to see that the hole was not cut in it. I had to cut my hole off the center. To fit my existing hole from the old vent.

It came with one small dent but seems to be heavier than we expected and was easy to hang. Not a bad hood for the money

This is a serious exhaust hood that will clear a large area of fumes and smoke quickly. It has a very deep smoke collection chamber so even if there is a sudden flare-up of smoke, the hood has space to contain it until the powerful fan catches up. The hood is NSF and UL listed so can be used in commercial kitchens and concession trailers It has a single light right in the center which can help light things up but does leave some shadows. I’d have preferred 3 lights instead, but additional ones could be added under the hoods there’s plenty of room. It’s a powerful hood built to last for years in a high-use scenario. I’d highly recommend this hood for any commercial kitchen with a 5’ space for an exhaust hood.

Not much else to say about this hood...it is enormous, yet surprisingly lightweight. Love the removable grease traps, and ability to customize control/ducting based on preference and need. All welds looked solid, and everything clean, despite a mangled box. Packing was done very well and it is ready for use...now to get started building the trailer.

This is a large 5ft range hood. It has that stainless steel construction and finish just like a commercial grade range hood. It looks pretty well made and sturdy. It had some slight dings to poor packaging but it still functions. It does a pretty good job at exhausting all the smoke and fumes out. Has a oil/grease drip bowl at the center. The screens easily remove for cleaning.
