This was a nice starter set for a beginner who is learning to set stones in fittings. It was priced affordable for 5 tools, too.

If still on the fence about learning silver smithing, this set won’t break the bank and you have the basic tools for setting your bezel

Great tools, perfect for the job!

Works for larger pieces of jewelry like 6-8mm+ size stones but won't work / fit to work for 2mm or smaller stones. Tools are just to big for that. I haven't tried on 3-4mm stones yet. However, Its has been really nice to use these instead of screwdrivers and pliers.. Well worth the price to not have cuts and scrapes using pliers and screwdrivers.

This set is low quality. Aside from the set I received not looking like the photo, the tools are small and lightweight (not in a good way). There are a lot of rough surfaces and sharp edges. I got impatient and used one as is thinking I’d just be careful and it gouged my bezel. It took me almost 2 hours to file and polish these tools so that they won’t damage my materials. For all of the headache I wish I just bought quality tools from a jeweler supply place. Wouldn’t recommend unless you are super new and using inexpensive materials or you don’t mind doing a lot of prep.

Bought them to use on some ring blanks I bought. Hoped there would be some instructions on how to use them. There weren't. Couldn't find much on utube. Guess I'll figure it out by trial and error.

These are nice but they were twice as much as I've seen them for since I've purchased them.
