Details of the process and what to expect.
I'm a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner and have researched and tried many programs but nothing with the deep and long lasting results that I have found with this program. This book has some amazing detailed information on GAPS a must read before starting the program. I went through the program without having enough information and had lots of detoxing so it was hard but I stayed on the program and will continue being on it. I feel so much healthier than I have felt in years. No arthritis pain, no upper and lower tummy pain. Immune system is stronger so less upper respiratory problems and many other health issues that were pestering me as a senior. The best information along with the book GAPS by Dr. Campbell-McBride

Great resource!
I have read most of Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride‘s books, and this book is essential to the understanding and applying the gaps protocol. It is written to help to navigate through the Protocol with success.

So helpful!
I especially appreciate the practical guidance this book provides for overcoming various obstacles to implementing the GAPS protocol. The author also provides very helpful explanations that cleared up things I didn't understand correctly when I was starting GAPS. Her writing style is very readable and she provides very effective guidance on how to succeed at adopting the GAPS lifestyle. Her personal experience with overcoming mental health issues was tremendously inspiring!Ms. Lashkov's book provides a wealth of useful information, helpful tips, instructions, recommendations, and relevant resources compiled from her own experience and from the shared experiences of others who have had good results with GAPS.The GAPS protocol has brought amazing improvement in my health, and Baden Lashkov's book contributed significantly to learning how to put it into practice.

Gaps Guide and Gut and Psychology Syndromes by Dr Campbell McBride are saving my life.
The way to cure the causes of health issues; starting from the guts! There is no better way to cure yourself but it is a lot of work. I've been doing it for 2 months and my health has improved a little already. The "moto" here is to go very. very slowly with incorporating food and most of all fermentation/probiotics otherwise the die-off is way too strong. every bit of food you try out is a go low and slow. Before starting the diet, read the book at least twice, it is a lot of information to take in all at once and to put in practice. The author is wonderful and you can communicate with her on her site if you have any issues or question. Many thanks to Baden Lashkov's support!

For Beginners Only
This book is only helpful if you have no idea what the diet is about. Such as, if you don't want to buy Dr. Campbell's book because of expense, this book is a good replacement. This book is not helpful if you need recipes for post-intro GAPS or post-intro assistance in any way.. I have yet to find a useful resource for introducing food beyond the intro.

Highly recommend it.
A perfect companion to the more intimidating Gut and Psychology Syndrome: Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A.D.D., Dyslexia, A.D.H.D., Depression, SchizophreniaThis book makes you transition INTO the GAPS diet with a very practical approach which consist in adding GAPS food gradually instead of going head first. This maximizes your chances of success with the GAPS diet and makes the whole switch a whole lot manageable and doable.Highly recommend it.

Must-have Adjunct to the GAPS diet
I have been doing the GAPS diet for a month. This wonderful book has cleared up all my questions and answered some I didn't know I had. It is a must-have adjunct to the Dr Campbell-MacBrides book. It is clearly written, well organized, logical and helpful. It has lots of links to websites and support groups, and it addresses a whole list of other diseases, like fibromyalgia-Chronic fatigue that the GAPS diet book leaves out. Highly recommended!

Very Helpful!
The author does a great job of pulling from her own experience with GAPS and the experiences of many others. The information in the guide is important, useful and well-organized, and addresses many of the issues often encountered during the healing process. The book is a great companion guide to Dr Campbell-McBride's book.
