Delighted with this dish
This dish is perfect for my needs! Being elderly, and struggling these days with even small jobs like emptying the washing up dish, it’s so easy to drain it using the plug at the bottom of the dish. Having the open slots at the top of the dish, on two sides, is an added bonus too. Ok, you can’t get a dinner size plate to lay flat in it but ideal for a breakfast size plate! It’s a sturdy type of plastic, including the corner ‘feet’ which keeps the dish raised off the bottom of the sink thus allowing good drainage. Highly recommend this dish.

Good all round product
We just got a new ceramic sink and knew we needed a washing up bowl. The sink we brought is the smallest on the market as we have a teeny tiny kitchen so found it very hard to find a bowl that would fit. This one is perfect, has a little plug at the bottom and drainage at the top. Protects our sink and will definitely buy again for my mumma who has the same problem.Big enough for a pot of pan, but not any large kitchen bits. But that's not the products fault, it's the teeny tiny sink.

Good product, but there is a flaw.
Good product, but there is a flaw. Make the wrong slope, with the plug open, all the water does not come out. This basin is small and fits my small sink very well. Made from good quality material

Perfect
Great little bowl and perfect for our camper van. Nice and strong and with its plug and strainer to catch food pieces it is going to be such a great asset. And will be so much easier than having to lift the full bowl each time to empty :) and then just a quick wipeLove it :)

Basically ok, but smaller than necessary, and with one major flaw
For years I have faced the dilemma of where to keep my washing up bowl in the times between washing up. If I keep it in its natural position in the sink, it gradually fills with runoff water from using the tap, and needs to be emptied regularly or the water in it gets in the way of putting things under the tap. If I try to balance it on its side to avoid that, it falls over and happens anyway. And there's nowhere else in my kitchen to put it.One day I suddenly though to myself "why don't they make bowls with plugholes?"... and then "maybe they do?" It turns out, Beldray do. Not many other people do though, at least not at this price point. I thought this would be the answer to all my problems. And it's certainly a step in the right direction. The basic idea is sound - I can now use my tap with the bowl in situ, and it doesn't fill up.It's taller than my old bowl, but its horizontal area is smaller. There's a lot of wasted space around the bowl now. But that's ok, it's big enough. I must say I don't understand why they've made it so tall, but then put holes at the top of the sides, so you can only fill the water to about an inch below the top. However, I have noticed that I'm less likely to splash myself with water when washing up, so maybe that's the reason. The drain plug rotates to engage, and seems to do its job very well. I haven't noticed any problems with leakage, but I wouldn't expect to use this bowl anywhere outside the sink, I think you'd be playing with fire (well, water) to do that...To drain the water you can rotate the plug but leave it in place and it catches all the bits of food that would normally have clogged your sink's drain - great! Or you can remove it entirely for faster draining. But they've made one major mistake with the design or manufacture, and I cannot fathom how nobody spotted it.It should be obvious to anyone with half a brain that the drain hole needs to be the lowest part of the base. Otherwise the water won't all drain out, right? Well for some reason, on this one (at least on mine) the drain hole is the *highest* part of the base. It's as if they put the mould on the wrong way round or something. So it simply will not drain all the water. Ever. See photo. There's always a thin layer of it left behind. Tipping the bowl slightly won't get rid of it, it just flows around the plughole. The only way to get rid of it all is to tip it out like a normal bowl! Also, there's the pattern of circular ridges on the base which seems to be pointless and traps fine particles there instead of letting them drain away. Again: WHY?If they hadn't made such a glaring error, this would be a 5-star product just for the convenience it has brought, but it's such a major mistake to make on the ONE JOB this bowl has compared to a normal bowl, I feel I have to deduct 2 stars.

Not the old fashioned type of washing up bowl.
It's smaller than the average washing up bowl, but this doesn't make it any less usable. In fact, I now realise the advantage of not being able to pile the bowl high with greasy plates. Just stack 'em next to the sink and work through them a few at a time. This also means that if someone wants to pour a liquid straight down the drain, you can just lift up your bowl and set it aside momentarily. It has little feet too, so you can use it on the counter top if you need to. The sides are rigid and it looks like it will last me a long time. Delighted!

2nd time brought
Had same washing up bowl at old house. Very compact, like fact don’t have to tip up to empty just turn plug. Expensive but lasts ages so I would recommend, especially if smaller sink.

Ok
Avevo bisogno di qualcosa di maneggevole, trasportabile, che non si nota tanto, per fare pedicure alla mamma, ricoverata in una struttura. Idea vincente.
